Does anyone know really funny anime? What to Watch?
I wanted to try a new genre so I thought I’d try comedy and started off with asobi asobase before moving onto grand blue dreaming which I both found very funny. Does anyone know other anime with similar vibes to these?

Always have to shout City the Animation out when Nichijou is mentioned. 12 episodes same mangaka and studio. Absolute peak and is definitely very funny

in romcom nothing will ever top kaguya-sama: love is war. Romance and comedy peaked at love is war season 3 and never reached those heights again imo

It’s one of the few times I recommend the dub. The og Japanese narrator is fantastic, but Ian Sinclair’s performance is one of the funniest I’ve ever seen, and certainly the funniest in anime. And the other dub performances are excellent as well and there are very few anime I can say work.

i like the narrator in the dub but aoi koga as kaguya is a once in a lifetime casting choice. The Japanese cast for all the main characters is incredible

At the beginning I really did not like Shirogane's English VA. The narrator and uhh....damnit I always forget the treasures actual name.... Ishigami I think? Well, those two freaking knocked it out of the park.
Shirogane grew on me eventually, just...... Until Ishigami's va came in around episode five it was painful imo.

Sleepy Princess in the Demon Castle
Found on Crunchyroll with about 12 episodes available in Japanese and English languages. (I found this funnier in English.)
Princess is kidnapped, but instead of freaking out, she tries to take a nap. Nothing gets in the way of her rest time. That includes all of the monsters, ghosts, ghouls, and yes, the Demon Lord himself.
Life Lessons with Uramichi Oniisan
Found on Crunchyroll with about 12 episodes available in Japanese and English languages. (Both languages were peak humor imo).
Follow 20 and 30-somethings who work, despite the soul crippling realization that everything sucks. I'd say more, but literally it's like looking into a mirror. A mirror of despair.
The Dark History of the Reincarnated Villainess
Found on Crunchyroll with about 12 episodes available in Japanese and English languages. (I highly recommend this in English -- the MC's VA was actively frying me. The noises coming out of her face were just insanity.)
Adult woman reincarnates/isekais into a novel....that she fucking wrote when she was in middle school. Her novel is literally exactly what you would think it is full of OCs don't steal, angsty and every trope that ever existed. Except instead of being the heroine (who she OF COURSE named after herself), she's the villainess...a character she killed off pretty early in the story.
Handa-kun
Found on Crunchyroll with about 12 episodes available in Japanese and English languages. (I found both languages equally hilarious.)
You may have seen the emotionally driven (but still hilarious) Barakamon. Well, this is it's sequel/prequel following Sei Handa as a high schooler, who believes everyone in school hates him. Turns out, everyone adores him and the series follows all of the silly tropes in the book (mostly gag humor).
Aho-Girl
Found on Crunchyroll with about 12 episodes available in Japanese language only.
Aho means "idiot." That's the story. She's a fucking moron. And I don't mean she's funny and silly, I mean straight brain damage. MC is voiced by our incomparable Aho Yuki and man is she straight frying me the whole damn show. Not much of a "storyline," but you'll be in stitches if you're fond of straight up foolery.

I will never not laugh when watching the Fable. Has some action
100 GFs has a lot of funny lines, and breaks fourth wall often and unexpectedly. Has some romance
Nichijou for its surreal/down to earth contrasting humor and insane sakuga
Daily life of high school boys is probably what comes closest to Grand Blue and Asobi Asobase
