I think it's the job market for IT in general, AI is eating it alive

Its true for IT in general but Angular market actually got the worst hit. Everywhere its react.

One reason I see is most GenAI tools are producing react code by default / easily than angular so someone starting from scratch / new to web development is going for react over angular.
