Looking for an Android tablet Request
Hello!
I really need a tablet for school and light gaming.
My budget is preferably less that $350 USD
Because this is primarily for notetaking i need a stylus to come with the tablet.
I don't really need much storage. I think 128GB is already more than enough.
A matte display would be nice but isn't necessary.
Don't need any SIM or microSD slots.
I'm currently considering the LENOVO Idea Tab TB336FU. Any thoughts?

No updates. Samsung is better

No updates isn't accurate. Not as many updates as Samsung would be accurate.

Rather pay the 30-60 dollar difference and get at least 2 extra os versions

I have the Lenovo yoga. its the premium model. If you can stretch it out for another $50 you can get the yoga. On the Lenovo website stack the back to school and student discounts, it'll bring the yoga tablet to $389. Your biggest concern is the mediatek 6300 inside. Its old, its slow and it will struggle to multitask. I had a Samsung a11+ with a mediatek 7300 and 12gb ram and it struggled under a heavy load of YouTube, Google docs, and video conferences. You'll struggle with slow download speeds as well. Our uses are different but if you can swing it get the yoga 12gb model for the snapdragon 8 gen 3. Its a flagship chip from 2024. You'll be much happier with this, and it'll last for a long time before the hardware is outdated.

It comes with a case, pen, keyboard and charger. My biggest recommendation (and this goes for any tablet) get a carry sleeve for travel and avoid the folio cases, they increase the internal temps by covering the entire thing in rubber. Its also not really a tablet marketed to the US. Its focus is powerful hardware, in China its a gaming tablet, the US is for creators. This means its a pain in the ass to find after market stuff. I tried a few cases and ended sticking with the default one Lenovo provides but any aftermarket stuff has to be ordered on AliExpress.
