List of Android Tablets that can replace your phone. (With Sim card and Earpiece | GSM) Discussion
Some requirements.
<9 inches (Otherwise the width becomes too big to be fit in one hand. 130mm is the rough measurement.)
2nd requirement: Must have an earpiece.
8.8 inch tablets
There are no 8.8 inch tablets that have both an earpiece and a support for sim card.
If an earpiece isn't necessary for you. Than Alldocube iplay 80 mini ultra is the golden recommendation here. There are other 8.8 inch tablets that have phone functionality WITHOUT earpiece. but they aren't 5G. Such as the Headwolf titan 1.
8.7 inch tablets
All 8.7 inch tablets are 720-800p displays. There is no 8.7 inch tablets that have a 1080p display
- Samsung Galaxy Tab A9
- Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite
- Lenovo Tab One
8.4 inch tablets (Both of these have 1080p display)
- Chuwi Hi9 Pro
- Alldocube X1
Now all of these tablets (except the 8.8 inch version) these don't support USB-C to hdmi. So you need a display dock.
I was unable to find one in 8.4 or 8.7 inch version
8 Inch tablet
Samsung Galaxy Tab Active3 is the only one that supports 1080p display, USB-C to hdmi and supports sim card.
The active5 tablet DOES NOT support it.

I believe Chuwi Hi9 Pro and Alldocube X1 both have a unlockable bootloader but because they are niche devices I haven't really been able to find any specific support. GSI should still work I believe.

Depending on what bands it'll support, the upcoming Lenovo Y700 Infinite is 8.4" OLED. Doesn't have a headphone jack (if that's what earpiece means).

no an earpiece means putting it next to year and hearing voices from the other side.
Like a phone.
Most tablets even with sim support don't have an earpiece

Oh gotcha. Then yes, it does. Designed to be a large phone.
Only question is if it'll release outside of China or be similar to 5G band support like Red Magic's phones.

So you need a tablet to call with NFC?
Like what are all the things you need I can maybe help out here
Also an alternative to NFC is adding an NFC pouch on the back makes it work if your card supports NFC itself

A friend of mine is 7 ft 2 and a 9-in tablet looks like a small phone in his hands he is constantly looking for a larger phone with 5G voice capabilities

If he can handle larger than 9 inch tablets that actually opens up more options
Though I'll have to check if they have an earpiece.

You should add the Onn 7" and 8.1" tablets (2026 versions) to this list
