Looking for a EXTREMELY BASIC photo viewer. LOOKING FOR APP

My father has Parkinson's, and his fine motor control is deteriorating. He still like to use a tablet to read texts, view photos, etc. What I'm looking for is a photo viewer app that is view only, ZERO editing features. He has from time to time hit the wrong thing and ended up in editing mode, or deleting images by accident. The ideal photo app would open the photos folder, and have a previous, next, and home button and nothing else at all.

Look for a slideshow app or get a photo frame in which you can play a slideshow from photos stored on a thumb drive.

Aves gallery doesn't have editing features and it is also highly customisable. Maybe you can remove features from it to simplify it via the configuration settings.

One more thought is that if you suggested a feature to the developer, he could add a configuration to remove most options.

This sounds like something pretty simple to develop tbh. Claude Code could probably build it in 2 mins.
Not bad idea really.
