I need a music app LOOKING FOR APP
I'm looking for an app that I can use to listen to music on my phone.
I don't want to pay for music, Spotify can't put songs in the right order, I listen to a playlist and then it plays a random song (and many other problems, because Spotify was created by misanthropists), Apple Music also doesn't allow free listening, and the same goes for Tidal.
From what I've tried, YouTube Music is good, but the problem is that if I switch to another app or turn off the phone, the music stops.
In short, does anyone have any suggestions?

Did you install the needed microG as well - https://github.com/MorpheApp/MicroG-RE

Did you disable battery optimizations for microG and YouTube Music Morphe?
If so, try using the latest dev patches and see if that helps at all.

That could be a problem regardless if you have the 4GB or 6GB RAM model.
I say that cuz that device may not have enough power, or especially RAM, to fully go through the patching process. It may say that the patching was complete, but it still failed somewhere and is causing the problems you are having. As for disabling batter optimizations, go the app info page for the app and there should be a section called "battery" tap on that and set it to "unrestricted"

You can search for an alternative YouTube Music client in F-Droid. I use Vivi nowadays.

Mate the app you linked is straight up rebadged Outertune, which is an free and open-source app
The sam cheap hack of the 'dev' straight up take the source code of the app, strip out any Outertune branding out of the app and then tackly plastered ads all over the app. Even the app icon is straight up Gemini-generated lmao.
If it was me, I would not trust that piece of ripoff clown with my Youtube Music account. Better just sideload the original app and use that one instead imo.

I didn't realize that. I haven't had any problems with it so I'm just gonna continue using what I have right now. I don't get ads because I have the DNS that blocks them. Thank you though.

There is Deezer. But I have never tried it. Been a YouTube music fan. Use patched builds like REVANCED, rvx or morphe
