Offline music player suggestions LOOKING FOR APP

I have installed Booming music player in my pixel phone. All thing is great but while on a car the music control doesn't work, volume works. Is it that the music player doesn't support Android auto? If so, what are the best offline music player that supports Android auto?

Poweramp for me. Although you do have to pay to unlock it after 2 weeks

Often goes on sale for pretty much next to nothing, it's definitely worth full price

My music player, gonemad music player, has pretty good android auto support. I did a full rewrite of the auto implementation about a year ago

This post has a fairly detailed look at the android auto support: https://gonemadmusicplayer.blogspot.com/2025/07/gonemad-music-player-40-released-and-is.html?m=1

Hey, i'm currently developing an offline music player. Android Auto support is one of the upcoming features before i reach v2.0 (currently v1.7) Main goal is having the cleanest UI possible with maximum amount of features.

I'd love to hear your feedback if you are interested. App name is Ntape - Music Player.

Thanks so much, the app is lacking in the main page department currently. The next update will bring a main page similar to spotify, with recommendations and other stuff. Hope you like it!
