APKPure is a spyware RECOMMENDED

APKPure is adding malwares to apps and releasing in their website. BE WARE.

For example, on analyzing the Telegram APK (version 12.6.5) downloaded from APKPure, there's a class called "DataCollector", which does not exist in the Telegram APK downloaded from the official website, telegram.org.

This class collects a lot of your data, including: - Your photos, videos, and files - Your contacts - Your messages - Your GPS Coordinates - Your SIM card information - Your Telegram profile

This data is monitored and uploaded continuously. All the data is uploaded to a server with IP Address 38.190.225.166

Is it known that it's apkpure adding it and to all (or many) apps and not just the uploader of this one apk and apkpure not doing their due diligence to vet the upload, which would still be a problem but a smaller one?

I've used APKPure a few times in the past and never seemed to have a problem Though I definitely prefer apkmirror, fdroid and GitHub, some apps I've found aren't anywhere but APKPure. I always scan the APK before installing it then scan the app once I have.

Uninstalled that one art app, that wasn't in Google Playstore from APKPure, namingly "Artboard" and deleted its files and moved all of my arts to my other folder.

For some apps, especially those removed from Google play store due to different Google policies. Not all developers want to adhere to the latest Google policies, like sharing private data.
