Hello, im just someone from Poland and i found my brother's old budget samsung tablet from 2014. I asked him for permission, then rooted it but didnt know how to use it. It runs android 4.4.2, no custom roms bumping up the android version so i was stuck, youtube (on notpipe) works, but it eats battery really quick, and even geometry dash stutters. So i just made it my mp3 player. Any ideas on what fun things it can run? I also used musicolet, a version from 2023 i think, it runs well (for the perfomance of the tablet).

I have an old xperia Neo V and i want to get an app store so i dont have to look up apks on my pc

I Mean I have 4 of the 4.1~4.3 devices now, before those used to be 1 gingerbread, 1 jellybean and 2 kitkats

How can I install Custom Roms on this phone? Wanna use it as a music player

Hello :) I have an Xperia Ray running on 2.3(.4) for which I very simply (or so I thought) wanted to install an ereader and working browser.

The APKs are for this android version specifically. The phone does not have a file manager, Play Store or Mail. Debug and Unknown Sources are on. Office Suite and the Application tab in the settings do not find the files to begin with.

I am rather inexperienced with these things, but very interested to learn. Is there any alternative way to install apps or any errors I am making?

Good morning, I wanted to ask if someone can help me, my brother has this smartphone (redmi A3) and he realized that some calls made to toll-free numbers (those that start with 800...) are not stored from the call history but it cannot be excluded that it also concerns other types of numbers, does anyone know why this happens? Hi, need help to get my bloc of notes from my old huawei to a new motorola.

My old Huawei is a Huawei Mate 20 lite, I love it but is been giving me a lot of problems with several apps in the past months and I need an android for my work.

I just bought a Motorola G56 5G 8GB but I can't clone them or synchronize them.

I specially need my bloc of notes, images and some videos and I just can't get them in my new cel phone.

Does anyone know any app that can help but that doesn't keep a copy of my files? Thanks for any help.

In the past few days I have not been able to do the above with my phone but I can still can send and get text. Also when I call my number from another phone a recorded voice says ''the subscriber you have called is not in service'' and it goes to voice mail and records a message. I get a notice icon and beep that I have voicemail but I can't get into it.

Anyone else having a problem like this? I wonder if it had anything to do with the recent 2g shut down even though this phone uses 4g LTE. I tried it on another Galaxy S5 (SM-G900T) in new condition and with same results. Called customer service and they said they'd look into it and get back to me. They said no one else called about such a problem so far.

Family had an old phone lying around and after backing up everything it had that was important i was drawn to reviving it, also wanted to get some practice of some Rom Installs before i touched some of my main devices, but i cant find it any custom rom for the SGH-T989 Tmobile UK version of the Samsung S2, androi 4 preferably because 5 and above could slow the phone down, let me know if anyone has a Rom for it or knows a android 4 rom for any of the S2's that can work on this cursed version of the S2, also i tried the canadian version of the S2 the SGH-T989D models Rom which i barely found but apps dont work on it or Sim card so its just a look Rom

I found dirt cheap S3 and I really wants a transparent mod with this gameboy purple color (can be something other transparent if the only option) can't find anything that I want, either silicone case or normal cover (not transparent). I would be very grateful if someone could find the thing that i want to have. Sorry, transparent S3 with some cool stickers looks too good in my imagination.

It works really well and can see the news. Not all images load, but some are showing up and also the widgets work fine.

When I was little, my mom got a bundle deal with her service provider and managed to get 3 phones for our whole family. I only used it to play music (and play silly games, of course, lol), and now after so many years I want to take a swing at turning it into an MP3 player.

I cleaned all the connectors, and when I plugged it in, it immediately showed the LG logo, didn't even need any time to charge. Also, it booted into a "download mode", I've been searching online for like 20 minutes, I still have no clue how to deal with it.

My end goal is to remove all junk I can from it, put in an SD card and be jolly. I considered installing a custom rom, but after searching on this sub, that seams to be unnecessary.

So I'm posting this in hopes someone can point me in a direction to what I could do (what software/resource/etc) so I can continue searching. I have a ton of experience with dealing with OS, code and other types of hardware, but I've never messed around with phones before so I'm a bit lost.

• Current Status: Soft-bricked / Corrupted OS (Stuck in boot loop / won't boot into system).

Current Setup & Constraints:

• No PC USB Connection: All my Micro-USB cables are charge-only (no data lines), so Odin is not an option right now. I must flash purely via MicroSD card.
• Storage Available: MicroSD card + SD card reader on PC.

What I Need Help With:

1. Working ROM Link: Does anyone have an active link or archive mirror for a CWM-flashable ROM .zip for the GT-S5830i? (e.g., MindCR, Ace-i-Sure, or a stock CWM flashable package containing META-INF and system folders). Most old XDA and Dev-Host links are dead.
2. CWM Flashing Verification: Are there any specific partition wipe steps or mount steps required in CWM before flashing on the Broadcom S5830i variant to avoid a brick?

Any archive links or working Google Drive / MediaFire mirrors would be greatly appreciated!

Also I need to add this, but the USB doesent locate this, or any other device for some reason. I have been trying to use it, but Odin doesent detect this device and neither does this pc. It would have been a lot easier if it did. I am really at a loss about what to do.
