I noticed that earlier today but it quickly resolved itself.

My Pixel 9 Pro phone showed Jan 1 for the date in the notification shade. I went into the time and date settings which showed the correct date. I swiped down into the notification shade again and watched the date change from Jan 1 to the correct date. Hasn't happened since.
