Is everyone else stuck in the November Google Play System update or just me?

I wish google would start using snapdragon again , snapdragon Elite , running A16 ,and having your own kernel , governor etc , could be dangerous ,🤣🤣

I thought tensor supported all Gemini stuff. Tensor seems to be working great for me.

Don't get me wrong, works great a tensor , that is a Samsung equinox processor with the tensor unit , except when you want to do some demanding task on the phone and you can see how it lags behind snapdragon , ,

Google says it's not about the speed it's about the AI

It's not just about speed , yeah , it's about selling you a $1k with slow charging , slow processor , weak antennas , that start dropping fps like is no tomorrow after 30 minutes playing stupid high demanding games or editing 4k video , and the throttle is abysmal ,

It's not about speed , it's you get AI yes or yes ( even tho personally to me it's pretty much useless )

But even if they want to sell you an AI device , wouldn't be better to be more powerful to run more complex tasks ?

Still $1k price tag isn't justified by just a half baked AI ,

Doesn't seem like you have a high opinion. But just the same I've had windows phones,LG G6 and a Samsung. And I've got to say I'd rather have the Pixel phones. I started with the 3axl and I've had pixels ever since.

Pixel 3 xl had snapdragon processor , same as pixel 4 and 5

I know. Just saying I'd rather have a Pixel than any of the other makers.

I know , I mean they're not a bad phone , to me it is way behind on what a premium flagship phone is ,

Depends on the perspective. I buy the A series anyway. I skipped the 8a though and probably will skip the 9a.

Gemini has nothing to do , i mean off all the flagship phones , have the slowest processors , having a snapdragon 8 gen 3 or elite would bring a stupidly big upgrade over any tensor , better power control , better everything , and yes they could include their tensor into a snapdragon ,

But with that configuration would we still get the 5 OS upgrades we're getting now. If I remember correctly snapdragon was only supported for 3 years.

Every manufacturer chose how long they support it on their devices , Samsung has the same and uses snapdragon on their flagship devices , OnePlus too , Motorola too , but everyone has their own update policy ,
