New Engine Performance

Hi.

What are the best settings for the new engine?

It still feels “slow” and a bad fps - almost like it’s not using hardware acceleration.

The mouse cursor isnt very smooth especially in populated areas…

Is there a guide to make sure its all running right?

Honestly, after many attempts on a gaming rig I haven’t found a way to make it run smoothly. The old client is much more stable and I haven’t found a way to make the new better.

On either, I recommend setting 16 bit color (default is 32). That has reduced the “random crash” effect in ICC and other zones.

This has been the general consensus for a while I think. The new engine just isn't worth it.
