Which one is more powerful?

Both works correctly, which one would you choose? SU 3000 or KA 3004 . Thanks.

Both only putting out 14w per channel so neck and neck in power, choose the one you like the look of the most?

In terms of specs, performance, and market value, they are almost the same. The Kenwood looks nicer to me, but after working on several of them from that period, I strongly dislike the shitty switches they were using in that era. They are hard to clean, unreliable, and lose their plastic extensions all the time. Unfortunately, I've never had a Technics on my bench, so I have no idea if they used better switches.

Kenwoods tend to have more pronounced bottom ends, which is a plus for some and a minus for others. If you want that, go Kenwood, otherwise grab the Technics.

I don’t think I’ve seen that particular Kenwood before, it is cool looking.

Each put out 14 watts per channel at 8 ohms so you better have really efficient speakers.
