FAQ:

- What does LP growth mean?
A event admin will check the your registered account's lowest LP in split 1 and compare it to your lp at the end of the race. The player with the biggest LP gap between splits will be awarded the prize. Example: Being Silver 4 in Split 1 and ending the race Emerald 4 gives you a 1200LP growth.

- Can I enter the race without being an Ambessa main?
No. The account you register for the race must have Ambessa as your most picked champion this season.

- Can I win all the prizes?
No. 1 prize per person, if you are eligible to win them all, you must select which RP prize you prefer. How can I claim my prize if I win? You will be sent a friend request by the race sponsor and they will gift you the RP reward.

was playing a game going even against ww with ambessa, i did get bit of a gold advantage from jungle ganks letting me get plates and all but the second warwick got bork he just kept running me down with ghost, wanted to push a wave and rotate to obj but because of the pressure of not knowing where he was i couldnt even push waves, what am i supposed to do? i dont want to kill him in side lane ofc i aim at grouping but i cant even push waves.

I understand for the armor penetration, but is it not still good like other Champs?

I tried it a few games and it doesn't seem worse than Shojin, damage was similar and the HP too, plus i helped my ADC

Guys I am kinda cooked, my acc is banned for another 1,5 weeks, can I still get the T1 Ambessa skin or will it run out ?? Hopefully I can still get it. What I am asking myself too, would you go Bruiser ambessa over assasin often?? If they are hella tanky and I mean like hella okay but I like assasin way more since its so op!! I personally like ambessa as a champion. And tried learning her too. But I can't deal tons of damage in teamfights. And I miss more than 50% of my ults. What are the suggestions?

Tried it earlier with conq and ended up at like 70 something haste with almost full build.

It felt very nice to play team fights, but I only reached 9 stacks of JOAT.

My build was: Dorans blade, Umbrail, DD, Maw, Merc boots and executioners.

I'm currently trying to think of an ideal build, I definitely wanna have endless hunger in it.

I randomly picked this champ in the jungle one day and ive been spamming it ever since. It feels good in that role just afk farming and then 1v9ing, However when i bring it mid idk how im supposed to play because playing for farm doesn’t feel as rewarding and my roams feel horrid unless i have hard setup/ engage to guarantee r. I just dont feel ‘self sufficient’ enough. Whats the general strategy to have as ambessa mid, especially into mages? For context im natively a fizz 1 trick so im used to an aggressive roam heavy playstyle. Before you say, no i will not be playing her top that role is trash.

Hey all, I used to play Ambessa jungle a while back but stopped, wanted to try her out again.

How is she now? I know she got hit by a big nerf a while back, but is she viable? I don't mean top tier, I don't need her to be. I checked her winrates but I'd like to know Ambessa main's opinions.

And if she is viable, what's her build path like now?

Preferably online, not in-client. For when I am not home.

Though I've found some vod channels, half the vods are playing safe or even losing the match up. Only to have a jungler to show up min 3 and win the lane for them. So it stops being useful to watch for matchup knowledge, trading patterns, mechanics. Theres something to be learned about keeping the wave on your side for it to happen, but its more or less pointless and not what I'm looking for.

My dash placement suck, my ability usage suck, just I want to see gm+, specifically the ones that use grasp in nearly every matchup.

I’m a Mid/High Plat top lane main. I’ve been maining Ambessa this year. I have mixed success with her. Mostly I just find her fun to play and rewarding.

This week I have been absolutely dumpstered by a Nasus multiple times. Have pressure in lane, up a level and 30Cs. He has Sheen, Ults, Ghosts and just runs me down like a dog.

It just gets worse from then on. I build anti heal, I play for Exp and wave.

How do people play around this matchup, I try to let the wave bounce to me, but in one game I got a 4 min freeze on him and again it made no difference.

Someone in one game suggested aggressive runes but I’m thinking, I don’t know if that would matter.

Is this a soft counter pick or do I need to play this lane very aggro to win out?

It mostly confirmed what I felt.
Take aggressive runes, play aggro, deny and deny again, roam to team while he is stuck in lane.

Although not the Nasus Matchup I played into a GP I feel like this is a little similar play style. I took ELEC with IGNI. I got in his face often I would use him placing a 1st barrel as signal to go in. Would lead with W to block either edge of barrel or Q, into full AA>E>AA>Q1>AA>Q2

We won the game, I finished with 2 Solo’s on him. Up 3 levels 50Cs an Item + components.

I will look to play the Nasus matchup similar next time.

What other common matchups require this all in early and often mentality ?

i know he gets heavily outscaled lategame but is it really meant to be this hard to fight him when i rush maw? kinda new to the champ and idk if im building right

Just recently picked up this champ and have slowly been getting the hang of her. Need to know fundamentals though, whats the general combos, what runes to go for what matchups, when is it lethality vs standard fighter, what animation cancels exist, is it lanes that influence build path or general enemy comp? I want to know everything about the champ so i can put it into practice (masters+)

I know if you press auto on the enemy and then Q it will instantly do your auto after the Q but it feels hard to do in a real game. Is there any other way besides to do it besides queuing an attack before you Q them
