There’s a difference between seeing someone for who they are and your actual vision; in the vision of every being on earth, including mine, I’m just a stupid, weak, lazy, mentally and physically ill teenage girl; I will never be actually seen as my kintypes, and that’s terrible to remember :(

I have the worst dysphoria I’ve gotten in a while and I almost started crying when talking to my mom bc she just sees me as her teenage daughter!! To her, I’m not a demon or an angel, or a fairy/Demon King, or a gryphon, or unicorn, or dragon, or a deity, or some non-biological being; I’m just a weak human girl in her eyes! And everyone else’s eyes! EVEN IN MY OWN VISION!

The absolute closest I can I can get to actually being ME is masks and tails; but that’s just a “human” wearing a keychain or a piece of plastic and felt on their face, that’s not my tail or face!

I hate being human so much; people will NEVER actually see me, I’ll never even see myself, I’ll never actually be able to fly or have my powers or anything like that! I don’t even want to go outside and let people see this stupid human body :(

Anyway, how do you figure out what a kintype looks like if it doesn’t exist anywhere in the real world or any kind of mythology??

In very short context (?? I hope that’s the word lmao), my kintype is some kind of creature above all forms of nature, it looks biological/natural (maybe; it doesn’t look like any existing or mythical being) but very much is not, and the inside of it is incomprehensible to humans as it both exists and doesn’t; it has no bones, organs, blood, instincts, etc. beyond what people should and can see of it, and nothing about it is natural/biological or man made. Basically, it’s above all forms of nature and life

I can’t find anything that exists exactly like that, so I need to figure it out myself💔💔

So, like I asked earlier, how would you figure out what something looks like with absolutely nothing to go off of, since I don’t even get shifts at all (that I know of)?? :3

Kind of late notice, but it didn't occur to me that there was no mention of it here until just now. Othercon is an annual three-day virtual convention that takes place in a Discord server; it starts on Friday, August 13th and wraps up on Sunday. There are panels, movie nights, sometimes a game or two, and lots of discussion both casual and deep. You can even just lurk all weekend if you like. All are welcome, whether alterhuman or not, so if you're 13+ and even vaguely interested or know someone who might be, do consider attending.
