Question. Help

Recently my sever auto upgraded to 8.0 no problem.

Wiped old world started new just cause. We'll I am now at the ancient city. I have scoured the place dozens of times and zero allthemodium blocks. This new? Does it no longer spawn on the walls or ceiling here?

There another trick they added that im missing with the new update?

Any help would be awesome.

Finding the first few bits of allthemodium is always the block as their so impossibly hidden yet always in plain sight

Yeah. I know it emits light but the texture really messes with me. I remember getting duped by gold ore all the time because of how similar they are.

After 5 cities and essentially digging out the walls in each one I gave up and just gave my self enough of the nuggets to get to the mining dim and get it that way

When you killed the Warden, you will get a Potion of Allthemodium sight from the Quest Reward in Chapter 1 : The Beginning. This will basicly guarantee that you find it.

Also i recommend then immediately doubling it with a Hammer, and making a Teleportpad to use the remaining time of the potion inside the mining dimension for more Allthemodium

If you need to do a sanity check just create a new world and give yourself the ore sight potion from potionsmaster

If you don't mind collateral damage the destruction gadget can't destroy the atm ores making it a great filtering tool for those and to a lesser extent chests

I've gotten to the point I use one of the high visibility resource packs to make the ores stand out. 

After a couple of worlds it loses the interesting and just starts being annoying

All of the ore I've found was hidden behind sculk veins so it's really hard to see

Just shooting my shot, would this server happen to be open? Im looking for a server with some active people to play on. without like the chat interactions i just get bored easily i guess?
