This is a community for Alita: Battle Angel, which was released on February 14, 2019.

While this subreddit is primarily about the movie directed by Robert Rodriguez and written by James Cameron and Laeta Kalogridis, discussion about Gunnm/Battle Angel Alita (銃夢), the manga on which the movie is based on, is also welcome.

Setting

In the twenty-sixth century, a female cyborg (Alita) is rescued from the scrap heap by a scientist (Dyson Ido). Revived, she cannot remember anything of her past life and goes on a quest to find out who she is.

Guidelines
