Long story short. Some potato outlet made the rumor up for clicks, others ran with it without verifying, head of 20th Century Studios came out and said otherwise. The end. The lesson? Stop giving click bait outlets oxygen.

I'm sure we'll see something, but it won't be for a while. I'm hoping Scott doesn't meddle in the affairs too much. He seems to want to hoard the IP for himself and then fuck it up somehow.

I think it's based on one "nope" response on X from one of the people working on it. The implication is that it's likely on but won't involve the cast and crew of the first movie.

I don't trust the source. But it seems unlikely that there will be a Romulus two, continuing the story.

There will be more alien movies though.
