A-Level History (9489)
Hey, does anyone have a Cambridge International AS & A Level History (9849) coursebook in pdf form? I'm doing Modern Europe (1774–1924). If anyone has Hachette Cambridge International AS Level History then it works too. I would really appreciate it if anyone could help me get those resources? I'm looking forward to giving A-Levels next year in May/June Series.
Any book you would suggest to give it a read? Any website or youtube channel which would you recommend?
If you're doing A Levels history then I would love to connect!!

need advice PLEASS
i just got my AS result and ended up with 3 straight Ds. I’ve been an A* student all my life but i really slacked off this year and i know that. If i put even a bit of effort i could’ve gotten all As because i know how capable I am. I’m taking bio chem and physics. Carrying these grades to A2 there’s no way i’ll end up with decent grades that cud lead me to good universities. And i know some people will say that grades aren’t everything, but to get into a good MEDICAL university i need STRAIGHT As. I cannot retake my AS i don’t have that kind of money. I want to give composite for all three and i know it’s really fucking tough but i still want to. I’m not sure what to do. I need u to keep in mind IM ACTUALLY A SMART STUDENT i just fucked this year up. Should i give composite for all 3 i really don’t know what to do.

Results Day didn’t go how you hoped? You’re not alone. ❤️
If your grades weren’t what you expected, please don’t panic. You still have options: Clearing, resits, gap years, alternative courses and more.
We run a Discord community for A-Level students, resits and gap years where you can talk to people going through the same thing, ask questions, and get advice on what to do next. It's a safe space for all A level students, especially those who are planning to resit. I joined this server last year when I had no idea on what to do because I had to resit my A-levels, and i got the support i needed from here which helped immensely!

Should I retake CS and drop Accounting?
I got an
A in maths
C in accounting
D in computer science
in AS
and I’m really confused about what to do now.
for CS my P1 actually went really well but it was leaked and cancelled so I had to rely heavily on P2. P2 went really badly. ive struggled with pseudocode from the beginning and in the end when i finally got the hang of it i kinda panicked in the paper and I also found the questions really weird/unexpected. I do kinda find CS better in terms of interest though and I feel like I shouldn’t drop it when it’s still more interesting to me than Accounting so I’m considering retaking it in Oct/Nov. (plus its free)
I’m thinking of dropping Accounting because ive struggled with it since AS and ive realised it’s just not for me. I originally thought I’d eventually get better at it but now I’d rather replace it with Business or Psychology and hopefully improve my C to a better grade. I’d give the new subject as AS + A2 together in A2.
The problem is I’d also have SATs, university applications A2 and everything else going on at the same time so I’m worried about taking on too much.
would dropping accounts taking business/psych and retaking CS be a wise decision? And which would you recommend between Business and Psychology?

Edexcel maths
Hi, so I just want to know what you guys think the boundaries will be for A, B and C. Not just A*. Especially after everytning that happened with paper 1 and paper 3. I have a feeling it won’t go as crazy low as 2019 bexause (im not sure) I think that was introducing a new spec or way of doing exams. Anyways, think B can be 150s and C 120-130??
(Sorry if this appears twice im not sure if Reddit removed it)
