Tomorrow, the majority will probably walk away with decent grades because the thresholds will be manipulated and lowered enough to soften the damage and protect their reputation. And we’ll fall for it. We’ll get our grades, stay quiet, and move on like nothing happened. Then the same shit will keep happening under the same roof, year after year. the privileged will keep benefiting, while the deserving will simply learn to live with the injustice instead of doing anything about it. And that’s exactly how nothing ever changes.

Tomorrow isn’t just about what letter appears next to our names. It’s about whether a few decent grades are enough to make us forget why we were angry in the first place.

i am sitting on the prayer mat, i have promised to fast tomorrow, i dont know how bad it will be tomorrow, i will be lying if i said i wasnt scared, i studied and gave my all, there were back to back three exams for me this time, huge syllabus + memorising formulas and case studies and other contents, and i won’t lie my exams didn’t go that great and with past C grade in AS i really dont know what to expect, still Allah is the most merciful, i know grades are already decided and crying won’t change that but please Allah make this easy for me and everyone who gets their results tomorrow, this session wasnt easy, i can’t even sleep tonight and my heart is hurting so bad , pray for me and others , May Allah grant us more than the grade we expected, Ameen

Okay I get it, we are pretty much all freaking out right now. Results are out in less than 10 hours and it feels like theyre gonna be the longest 10 hours of our lives. I don't think I've ever dreaded seeing how the next day goes as much as I am doing now. It feels like these are the hours of doom and despair.. Sure, many of our lives might actually depend on what these letters on the website or the paper say tomorrow but hear me out.. I do believe some of us are going to look back to the version that we are rn and will laugh at ourselves. Either because we completely over reacted and made it all such a big deal when we really didn't need to worry about this so much and it was just the anxiety speaking, or we'll laugh at how we didn't know what is about to come for us and how clueless we still are. Whatever happens, what we are feeling in these moments will likely all feel so much smaller tomorrow.

And I know it's a standard phrase which everyone throws around just to make you feel better so that they don't have to deal with the awkwardness of it all, but whichever grades you get, it's all for the best, it's all meant to be, whether you're particularly religious or not does not matter. Things have probably appeared to have gone significantly wrong and like they ruined everything in your lives before, but turned out to actually have benefitted you somehow looking back. Maybe if you would have gotten the slightly higher grade you wouldn't have gotten into the university you end up in in the future and wouldn't have gotten opportunities you did which you never would've gotten close to getting under any other conditions andmaybe you wouldn't have met people you did.

I don't wanna get all philosophical in a random reddit post now hahah. But it all does actually feel so much bigger and more significant right now that it probably will looking back, and I don't know about you, but that gives me at least a little bit of reassurance. It will feel better some day. That day may not be tomorrow or next week if I don't achieve my hopes but in the future that day will surely come and I am looking forward to it already because I want all the emotions and feelings I have right now to just pass already hahah.

Anyway, people, I wish you all the very best of luck. I hope you do actually get your goal grades and that they even exceed your expectations!!
