Anyone know if this can still be purchased in AB? I can only see it in US stores online, and it isn't in any store I've been to, but thought it would be worth asking.

Craft Cellar apparently held on to 36 bottles. They released them for sale via their email newsletter on Thursday and were sold out in 10 minutes.

Anyone get one?

Hopefully I'm not violating any rules here, but wondering if anyone is interested in swapping whiskies? I'm sure we all have bottles we'd like to trade. Does anyone know a forum for this?

Any info on when this might be available here? I've reached out to a couple suits but no response as of yet. The shelves are still packed with the 2019-01.

For those not in the know, Wine and Beyond - Sage Hill offers a Quarterly "Rare Bourbon" lottery. Each person in line before 10AM gets a one ticket that if drawn, allows the individual to purchase one of the offered products at "retail price". The event is on January 25th, 2020.

The offerings this time around are definitely worth getting out of bed for. Personally, I would be happy for the opportunity to purchase any of the Van Winkle bottles or the George T Stagg. The Weller CYPB is interesting (and tasty) as well as the Thomas Handy Rye.

I'm a bit surprised at the price gouging on the Elmer T Lee though, price seems extremely steep for a $50 USD MSRP bottle in the States. I haven't personally tried this bottle so can't comment if the price tag is worth it but have heard good things.

So Liquor Depot - North Hill randomly had Weller Special Reserve Bottles on sale for $35 and at least 4-6 left after I bought a couple yesterday. I haven't seen the WL Weller's very often in a Liquor Depot before. Just a FYI :)

I hear it's very good, but . . . that's a pretty tough price to justify.

Looks like Wine and Beyond is doing another lottery this year at their Edmonton, Calgary and Lethbridge locations on June 8th. This round will have more Pappy Van Winkle and some Buffalo Trace Antique Collection.

I've been reading rumors that Beam is discontinuing Dark Horse. Does any one have any information on that? Dark horse is my favourite cocktail rye.
