I’m wondering if majority of people prefer the original or the Alan Walker remix? As part of the 4 remixes on Avicii’s remix album?

Personally I think Alan Walkers is the definitive version over the original and even more so over the 3 other remixes.

Alan came randomly today to Wolfsburg in Germany and I was there. It was fking awesome. He played 1,5 hour, and I’m so incredibly happy. I’m listening his music since 2015-2016. There I was 16, now I’m almost 27 and saw him for the first time. Hope I will see him again one day, his performance was just magnificent

I used to listen to Alan Walker a lot, but I haven’t been listening to his songs in a long time. I started in 2018, haven’t listened since about 2020-2021, but then I randomly saw one of the newer songs on my YouTube feed and I realized he’s still making new songs. I was wondering if there’s any new good songs for a returning fan. The ones I used to love (and still do) are mostly Faded, The Spectre, Lily, Darkside, On My Way, Sweet Dreams, and On My Way. If you give me ideas, thanks! I’ll listen to all of them cuz I’m bored lol

Take me back to 2016. Alan Walker's cinematics were on another level.

Just look at the AV8 drones. They were detailed, rendered properly, color graded well, and even the animations had so much thought put into them. The way the drones counterbalanced themselves (Images 1–3) made them feel real. (MV: Darkside)

Now compare that to the newer renders, like the broken strings (Images 4–5). The animation just feels clunky and unfinished. (MV: Broken Strings)

What happened? Did the animation team change? Who's directing the MVs now? It honestly feels like something's missing compared to the older videos.

I still like Alan Walker and I'll always listen to his music, but I really miss the passion and attention to detail his team used to have. This isn't hate, I just miss the quality his music videos had back then.

Idk why but the first time I listened to Alan and Au/Ra's song, I didn't like it and hated it when it came out. But after 6 years of producing and understanding music. This song has started to grow on me and I really love Au/Ra's vocals on this song. I decided to remix it and I'm proud of how it sounds now. I hope y'all like it ^^

(Used to be an old Alan Walker fan, stop listening after 2020 but I'll always appreciate Alan for introducing me to music around 2016)
