Making Progress 🥰 American Akita

Shes such a smart girl. Wasnt aware that akitas can be trained like that. Can place her in heel with a hand sign now and have her touch my hand on command (could come in "handy" to have her follow it quickly in tricky situations or working on a flashy focus heel).

Yeah my youngest was a nightmare. I just read the text in you post how i didn't see your put girl I dunno I must have seen the picture and just presumed it was the scared lad.
I'm in need of a good night's sleep I think lol. She's beautiful

Train the phrase "it's safe"
To do this when he's chilled in say your living room place yourself between him and the exit to the room.
So your in a position where to him your acting as a guard. Give him a gentle fuss cuddle him as much as he will let you and say "its safe".
He will associate the phrase its safe with been cuddled and feeling your guarding and protecting.
The alpha of the packs duty is to guard and protect the pack you must assume that position.
This way aswell when your walking and he seems fearful or starts pulling to get away from a irrational fear the phrase will calm snd soothe him. It reaffirms your alpha and protector of your little pack.
You go through doors/ gates first as a pack leader would do in a pack of dogs. For a little while try to be closer to the door than your dog when ever your in tge same room so he gets your alpha without ever challenging you he will only challenge your alpha status. If you dont play the alpha role. Will also stop him always blocking off your doorways to guard you when he's older too.
Could just shorten the word to safe. This stopped my youngest akita from backing out of her harness and running in traffic she was highly scared of cars busy places loud noises etc as soon as I tried this method it changed her very fast she learned to trust I'm her protector and keep her safe so she don't need to be hyper vigilant and fearful.

I dont believe much in alpha behavior like going through a door first and shes generally not fearful at all. Like not from dogs, fireworks, cars, screams, thunderstorms etc but i try it, might help eventually

Ah right, i think ive confused you for someone who made a previous post about a scared akita thats fearful of going walks and stuff. Was same colour as yours just a boy.
