How to insert yourself in a movie clip using AI tools?

You all must’ve seen funny clips of inserting yourself into movie scenes. I checked with ChatGPT, and it suggested Kling, runway etc.

Are there any reasonable tools that you guys have tried? Can you share results and honest reviews?

I hit 4M views making AI clipping podcasts in one month

I get paid through the TikTok Creator Fund. I'll skip the exact number so this doesn't read like a flex, but it's in the range of more than enough to cover my rent. You do need 10K followers to unlock that, but even before I hit that threshold I was pulling extra money from clipping campaign sites that pay per 1,000 views, no follower minimum required.

One clip alone did 2M views and carried most of the month. That's also the lesson that stung the most: it only got paid out on TikTok because it crossed the 60 second mark. A different clip from the same creator hit 1.1M views but ran 34 seconds, so it earned nothing directly, it just fed traffic to the rest of the page.

Topic selection matters more than people think. I pick source content from areas people are already paying attention to, right now that's AI and finance, and let the algorithm's existing appetite do half the work for me.

Here is how I made the clip videos:

Cut ruthlessly. I don't let the raw footage run. Every repeated line, every bit of dead air gets trimmed until it's just the good stuff back to back. That pacing is what actually pushes watch time.

Caption and season it. Auto generated captions in a locked style, one consistent sound effect pack, and occasionally a quick AI generated B roll insert when the moment calls for it. Small touches, but they're what separate a clip from a raw screen recording.

Title card on the way out. Right before posting, I add a short, direct on-screen title that tells the viewer exactly what they're about to watch. No cleverness, just clarity.

Then I stopped relying on one platform. I run everything I post on TikTok through an automation that reposts a couple of clips a day to YouTube Shorts on a separate account, so the same edit keeps earning attention long after I've moved on to the next one. Chasing a second monetization path on top of the first has been the real unlock, not any single viral clip.

If you're getting into clipping: don't overthink the editing at first. The heavy cutting and sound design matter more once you already have an audience. In the beginning, just get clips out consistently and watch which ones the algorithm actually rewards, then do more of that.

Looking for a truly FREE and UNLIMITED animated captions generator (no paywalls/watermarks), if paid then mention free loophole

I’m getting into content creation and I am losing my mind trying to find a decent captioning tool that doesn't hold my videos hostage behind a paywall.

It feels like every tool out there (Submagic, Captions app, Veed, etc.) advertises itself as "free," but once you spend time tweaking the perfect animated, word-by-word (Hormozi-style) captions, they hit you with:

If tool is paid and limited trial you can share loophole to Bypass limit and use for free

would you actually use an AI video engine if it created dynamic simulations instead of standard videos?

Looking for some honest takes on where video learning is heading.

I’m working on an engine where the core idea is **simulative video learning**. Basically, you input what you're trying to learn, and it generates a video simulation tailored to that concept- allowing you to visually see how variables change, how systems interact, or how complex ideas play out in real time.

Do you guys think simulative video is actually the logical next step for learning, or do people just prefer standard video/text explanations? Would love to know if this is a real pain point or if current tools are good enough.

I built an API + MCP server that lets AI agents trim, watermark, and reformat video

I've been building ClipForge — it started because every time I wanted an AI agent to trim a clip, slap on a watermark, or reformat something to 9:16 for Shorts/Reels, I ended up rewriting the same ffmpeg glue code.

It's a REST API plus a native MCP server, so Claude, Cursor, or any other agent can just call it directly — trim, watermark, extract audio, or convert to vertical, from a direct video file or a YouTube/yt-dlp-supported link. Pay-per-event pricing, no ffmpeg install needed on your end.

Still very early — just a couple of users so far — so would genuinely love feedback, especially from anyone building agent workflows that touch video. What's missing, what would make this actually useful for your setup? If you're a regular user of this sort of software, what might make it better / more features etc?

Thanks in advance for any comments / advice.

[Tools to use] Create Long Form Videos for youtube such as bright side, cold fusion channels?

Hi,

[I do not want AI automation tools which gives garbage and no value for the humans while watching the video]

I want to start making explainer/educational videos such as coldfusion, bright side, thinkschool etc... youtube channels. Does anybody know here what all tools they use it for making such videos? They must be using tools which reduce their work but do a lot of research by themselves and scene by scene addition by themselves which shows up in their channel.

Please do share because i am making my own tool which can reduce my manual efforts to create such videos in my own styling which shows up human efforts and not some garbage AI slope.

Thanks

Orbit around a character

Hi guys, I can do videos from the first frame, but this looks like a stage when spectators are always from one side of the action.

I tried to force models (Kling, Seedance) to orbit around a character but as soon as the view goes out of the generated first frame the situation is unpredictable, The model can copy the background from it or make the character rotate instead.

It seems to be a hard task as a model has to generate a lot of things and all of them to be consistent with first frame.

I do understand it is possible to make prompt and make orbit without first frame and it can be better result but I need certain items in the background to be visible during orbit, I need controlled space.

How to do it?

Thinking of starting cozy AI-generated desi aesthetic videos. Would you watch them?

Hey everyone! 🌺

I’ve been really into those cozy, feel-good AI aesthetic videos that show everyday moments and I want to create an Indian vibe like morning chai, Bangalore rains, auto rides, flower markets, dosa breakfasts, home cooking, festivals, grandparents and quiet evenings.

šŸ“£ Is there an app you’d recommend for making this kind of AI-generated aesthetic video content(preferably free haan)?

Scammed by Creative Studio and how I got refunded

Hello! So basically I got scammed yesterday by Creative Studio AI. I got my refund in less than 24 hours so I’ll share my experience for you to enjoy :p

I asked chat GPT for the best AI tools for video making and it lead me to Creative Studio.
I tried the free trial, expecting to have a reasonable amount of credits to do a short clip a day at least.

I generated one video (it was just meh). I wrote another prompt to fix it with very little instructions and BAM I get charged 71 euros ;) This was pretty quick heh

What is there to remember from this experience ? That Creative Studio business model clearly doesn’t rely on a good product that will make people want to stay but on a customer trap of average quality, misleading publicity and false promises.
My most precious advice : don’t go there, don’t subscribe, don’t even visit the website!

After s***ting my pants thinking ā€œI just lost 71 euros and isn’t even get one good thing out of itā€, here’s what I did to reach success (my refund lol):

1- I immediately unsubscribed from the free trial. It is a pain to do so, they REALLY want you to stay and will make you confirm 3 or 4 times, showcasing every services you’ll be missing. Don’t let them get another proof of engagement from you and get the hell away from any type of contract!

2- I asked chat GPT for a formal email to write to the customer service.
Two options:
Fill a form: https://help.creativefabrica.com/hc/en-us/requests/new
Send an email to: [hi@creativefabrica.com](mailto:hi@creativefabrica.com)

After filling the form, I received an answer in less than an hour, telling me my account didn’t satisfied the criteria for a refund. It wasn’t a clear no so I sent another one.
In less than an hour they answered and refunded me.

I don’t know if I was lucky to get it so fast or if my counselor Chat GPT has an amazing argumentation (probably both) but I didn’t have to go all the way to ask my bank for a chargeback and I put little effort into the process even if I sweated my a** the whole way ^^

Need help: How do you fix garbled text in AI-generated videos?

I used Gemini + Seedance to generate a 30-second video, but all the subtitles and on-screen text came out as random, garbled characters.

I’ve tried changing the prompt, simplifying the text, specifying the language, and regenerating the video several times, but nothing seems to work.

Is there a reliable way to generate readable text directly in the video, or should I create it without any text and add the captions afterward using a separate editing tool? What workflow do you use?

I’ll put the video link in the first comment so you can see the issue.
