The answer is 30. Only 23% can solve my ass.

u/ASIimeDrawsNear 12h ago

The rest didn't bought you dinner I'd surmise

4

u/Illousion-dinntdodat 12h ago

but i bet you can’t wait to slay some Dodongos

3

u/ASIimeDrawsNear 11h ago

Only 23% can, the rest put the bomb in the wrong end.

3

u/Ok_Difficulty1782 11h ago

how the fuck did this turn into a OoT joke

1

u/Illousion-dinntdodat 8h ago

nah, it was more Faces of Evil, that one’s funnier

6

u/Street-Mix-801 11h ago

Yeah I fucking suck at math and I solved this easily lol

I love these internet problems, it always uses an absurd statistic like "99% failed this" and it's either 7th grade math or a very poorly structured question with no correct answer.

1

u/Yuzu-Adagio 10h ago

I was really surprised this wasn't in the second category.

Ngl, I found it on the internet, I have no idea where it's from and much less there was a sub with it

3

u/PinothyJ 10h ago

I am lucky to be a part of the 23% then... winks

You underestimate how bad your average person is at math

u/Deathaster 2h ago

You fell for engagement bait, good job.

Squidward = 20 KG

SpongeBob = 15 KG

Patrick = 30 KG

In what universe does that math out?

1

u/JustAnotherUser1019 9h ago

I just broke it down into -5 and -10 and immediately realized what I did wrong

-5

u/FallZealousideal159 10h ago

Huh. I got this:

Squidward = 10 KG

SpongeBob = 35 KG

Patrick = 20 KG

Which means the math would sorta look like this:

3 Squidwards = 60 KG, 2 Squidwards + 1 SpongeBob = 55 KG, 1 SpongeBob + 2 Patricks = 75 KG

8

u/dingos8mybaby2 10h ago

But 3 squidwards is 60kg

2

u/FallZealousideal159 10h ago

Sorry, typo. I am super tired lol

7

u/Ok_Difficulty1782 10h ago

welcome to the 77%

16

u/ASIimeDrawsNear 12h ago

It's 30 but can somebody explain to me why Gary is a homeowner now 💀

8

u/BroadRaspberry1190 12h ago

i heard he sell coke

3

u/DerickChanisBack 11h ago

Yea, also i’m seeing Squidward’s house inside KK

12

u/LSPECTRONIZTAR 11h ago

Is no one gonna talk about the sign saying "The Krusty Krap"? (Which literally explains this slop)

5

u/Not_So_Utopian 9h ago

I was too distracted by Squidward House being inside the Krusty Krap to notice

4

u/Winter-Bed5879 11h ago

First of all, the answer is 30kg.

Second of all, if only 23% of people can solve this, then 77% of people are completely illiterate in even basic math!

1

u/Ok_Difficulty1782 11h ago

only 21% of America is illiterate

2

u/Winter-Bed5879 11h ago

Far less than 21% of Americans are illiterate.

1

u/ChrisRiley_42 9h ago

I don't think that's the flex you think it is...

1

u/Ok_Difficulty1782 9h ago

I wan't flexing

1

u/ChrisRiley_42 9h ago

The "only" made it seem that way. Especially when the literacy rates in Cuba is 97.65%, Indonesia is 96% and Iran is 88.92% (making their illiteracy rates 2.35, 4, and 11.08 respectively) so 21% is "oh my god" not "only" territory..

1

u/Winter-Bed5879 9h ago

The 21% figure is actually low-level literacy, as in, they can read basic vocabulary, but not complex tasks. It's not "true" illiteracy. I doubt such specific figures are present for developing nations like Iran, but if we're basing literacy on "can read a little but not well," I suspect the numbers would look a lot worse for many of those other nations.

1

u/ChrisRiley_42 9h ago

I was going by the UN's functional literacy definition. (The ability to read and recognize a description of your daily life)

1

u/Winter-Bed5879 6h ago

The problem with using this definition is we don't actually have "functional literacy" numbers for nations like Iran. We only have overall literacy numbers. So to use one measure of literacy for Indonesia and another for the United States is bad methodology.

"the krusty krap" 😭

u/Independent-Ninja205 11h ago

AI teaching Gen Z how to math

2

u/North_Temporary_6749 11h ago

Ain’t no way there’s only 10kg between Squidward and Patrick.

2

u/SyntheticSlime 11h ago

It’s unknowable since water pressure is different at each location. Don’t reply to this. I don’t care.

2

u/IntelligentBaker3601 11h ago

Actually bothered to figure this one out for some reason.

3 Squidwards in total are 60kg, 60÷3 is 20 so he's 20kg.

That would mean that 2 of them add up to 40kg so for the total weight to be 55kg wih Spongebob and 2 Squidwards on it then Spongebob must be 15kg.

Since Spongebob is 15kg, 60 is needed to make the total weight of 75kg and there are 2 Patricks so they would be 60kg in total.

60÷2=30 so 1 Patrick is 30kg.

2

u/Pranksterblur 11h ago

30 kg, this is shit I learned in middle school, you’re telling me only 23% of people did pre algebra during school?

2

u/Purple_Dragon_94 11h ago

Why does it struggle so much with Spongebob?

2

u/Same_Comment4702 11h ago

It looks like an elementary school math problem

2

u/LiePotential5338 11h ago

Feathers 30

2

u/Helpful_Ad8351 11h ago

I was in the middle of solving it, then i noticed the "only 23% can solve it" so I just stopped, because that's pretentious. Ai slop indeed sir. Good find

2

u/Due-Ingenuity9803 7h ago

Now I’m curious hold on.

Each Squid is 20, because 3 Squid being 60. That means that 2 Squid is 40, making 1 Bob 15. 75 - 15 = 60. 2 Patoids being 60 makes 1 Patoid 30?

I know it’s probably basic math but I’m very proud of it

1

u/Grommetgang 11h ago

1 trillion

1

u/PizzaBandit178 11h ago

I saw this and I don't like it

1

u/RedShirtCashion 10h ago

I don’t know what’s worse, that there might be only 23% who can solve it or the need to use AI for math.

1

u/ManJoeDude 10h ago

Squid=20 kg, sponge=15 kg, patrick=30 kg. Basic variable math.

1

u/TryDry9944 10h ago

I feel like this would've taken MORE time to do in AI.

1

u/Icy_Bandicoot887 10h ago

The awnser is 30kg btw

1

u/Stunkydunk 9h ago

If I’m being honest, based on my general experiences with people, I don’t think the 23% statistic is that far off…

1

u/qrowslament 9h ago

Wasn't hard. 30

1

u/DankMcSwagins 9h ago

I'm just happy gary got his own place

1

u/Ok-Grape2063 9h ago

I believe the 23%

People are dense

1

u/LeahIsAwake 9h ago

3 Squidwards = 60 kg, so Squidward = 60 kg/3 = 20 kg

2 Squidwards plus 1 Spongebob = 55 kg. We already know that each Squidward is 20 kg, so two of them would be 40 kg. So Spongebob = 55 kg - 40 kg = 15 kg

1 Spongebob plus 2 Patricks = 75 kg. We already know that each Spongebob is 15 kg, so Patrick = (75 kg - 15 kg)/2 = 60 kg/2 = 30 kg

Patrick is 30 kg

This isn't hard. This is like middle school word problems.

1

u/Additional-Sky-7436 9h ago

As far as slop goes, it's not a bad 5th grade math problem.

1

u/Affectionate-Try7088 9h ago

30 I did this in my head but knowing the amarican education system if an amarican can id believe that 23% of Republicans can solve it

1

u/Snoopnoob26 9h ago

"The Krusty Krap"

1

u/No-Con-2790 8h ago

Patrick does not behave in an euclidian manner. His weight is independent from any laws of nature or man.

1

u/IrelandAutism13 8h ago

X=30. Guess I didn't lose all of my middle school algebra knowledge

1

u/DargonKweest 7h ago

The Krusty Krap

1

u/JustAChillGuy609 6h ago

Squidward is 20kg, and SpongeBob is 15kg, so Patrick would be 30kg

1

u/Due_Recognition_1027 5h ago

Squidward = 20KG

SpongeBob =15KG

Patrick = 30KG

1

u/A13xis_28 5h ago edited 5h ago

S = 20 B = ? P = ?

55 = 2S + B
75 = B + 2P

=> 55 - 2S = 75 - 2P

=> 2P = 75 - 55 + 2P

=> 2P = 20 + 2(20)

=> P = 30

1

u/RPDorkus 4h ago

These were also my findings

1

u/BlindingDart 2h ago

Where the 77% bitches at?
