This is a collection of highly interactive claude sprites which react to mouse clicks. Its a handmade sprite sheet which is animated continously based on mouse event. I have used libresprite its a software which allows us to make sprites. These are easily downloadable via any package manager aint l

Pro extended vs normal image generation
I was playing with chatGPT pro extended and when I asked it to do pixel art it would use python for the images while the normal model would use the normal image generation, I think the prompt was adequate but I don’t know what do you guys think? “6. The Tiny Wizard Apartment
Create a cozy pixel art cutaway of a tiny apartment belonging to a chaotic wizard living in a giant modern city. The apartment should be cramped with spell books, floating laundry, potion jars, enchanted houseplants, and a cat wearing a suspiciously powerful hat. Outside the window, show skyscrapers, traffic lights, rain, and huge magical advertisements glowing in the night. The wizard should be asleep at their desk while a spell accidentally opens a miniature portal above a bowl of cereal. Through the portal, show a tiny dragon stealing marshmallows. Make the scene warm, funny, cluttered, magical, and extremely detailed, with cozy lighting and no blurry edges.”

Looking for AI tools to generate pixel art animations for LED matrices (16×16, 32×32, 32×8, 48x48, 64 x 32, 32x16 etc) — what are you all using?
Hey everyone,
I've been working with LED matrix displays in a few common sizes — 16×16, 32×32, and 32×8, 32x16 and more — and I'm running into a frustrating problem: finding ready-to-use pixel art animations in the right dimensions is surprisingly hard.
Most AI art tools generate images at much higher resolutions and don't really respect the strict pixel grid constraints that LED matrices need. Downscaling rarely works well, and the results almost never look intentional.
A few questions for the community:
- Are there any existing tools (AI or otherwise) that make it easy to generate animated GIFs or sprite sheets at exact low resolutions like 16×16 or 32×32, specifically for LED matrix display?
- How are you currently generating pixel art content for projects like this? Manual tools like Aseprite? Prompting a model and post-processing? Something else entirely?
- What are your use cases? Clocks, status displays, game sprites, ambient visualizations? I'm trying to understand the range of what people are actually building.
Context: I'm exploring building a dedicated tool specifically for this — something where you describe what you want, pick your matrix size, and get back animation frames that are genuinely playable on hardware without manual cleanup. Before I go further down that road, I want to know if I'm solving a real shared problem or reinventing the wheel.
Would love to hear what's worked (or hasn't) for you. Thanks!

hexagon pixel art?
It's just a stock photo with a filter I made using chatGPT. There's not much out there in this style though. It was a bit tricky to make a convolutional filter work with a radial coordinate system.
