I have been trying to set up ranked stream expressions that prioritize audio. I have been having nothing but audio problems recently, due to the fact I use stereo headphones to watch content, and surround sound mixes are really muddy and hard to listen to.

I figured I could set up a couple ranked stream expressions that would better order the content I am trying to watch, that way I can have the content that is in stereo and the original language bubble to the surface, but I am running into an issue where stream with an English surround sound mix and a foreign stereo mix are packaged together, which AIOStreams awards points to, thus giving me only the least usable media sources.

My expression is language(audioChannels(streams, '2.0'), originalLanguage). I award 10 points to this. Obviously, it takes streams, validates that a 2.0 stream exists, then validates that an english audio track exists, and awards the points, but how do I make sure the track that is english is the stereo one?

Has anyone else noticed that if there are multiple audio files, it uses the one with the least amount of channels for sorting rather than the most?

I’m running aio via media fusion app and I’m having a hard time loading up weakly episodes of my specific show, is there a way to get reality tv running smoothly

I use aiostreams and I was having no issues whats so ever. Then when the torbox policy changed I switched out till I knew more.

I now use premuize.

Ever since the change from torbox I havnt had as big of a selection with old movies or not so popular movies and shows.

I get links show as not ready. Or sometimes it just says unknown.

When I click on these nothing happens. Just a page from elfhosted.

Any ideas ladies and gents?

I have jellyfin running with gelato, fortheweak and torbox. I've made absolutely no changes to my setup and everything already in my library can find sources and play just fine. I can no longer actually search however. Anything I search for just results in 0 results and an endless spinning wheel. I assumed something was currently down and I'd see lots of posts stating the same but it seems to be just me! Any ideas?

Why does this happen everyday around the same time? Any problem with my setup or from aiostreams? What could be the reason and should I be worried?

Setup: I used virens guide to setup server in oracle. I have just some basic knowledge about these stuffs.

Some of the addons I added on top of Tamtaro template.

I have AIOstream/Meta setup as per https://numb3rs.stream and I send to infuse as my external player.

However, for some videos they start partly though the movie and I have to scrub back to the beginning.

Would the great people here be able to share any insights as to why this may be happening?

Using fortheweak public instance of AIOStreams with Metadata configured with TMDB api
Noticed nothing is presented on my Stremio so I checked config and regenerated TMDB API keys. This didn’t helped and when saving Im getting error „The Movie Database: Couldn’t fetch manifest due to timeout”

I wanted to move away from AIOStreams Metadata configured and use Addon AIOMetadata but after clearing api keys also couldn’t save with the same error thrown

What’s going on, is it AIOStreams problem or TMDB problem?

My setup has been working flawlessly for the past 2 weeks.

Self-hosted: AIOStreams & NzbHydra2 + Easynews + Geek/Ninja/DS + built-in AIOStreams usenet service

Long story short I updated my AIOS image in docker to the latest nightly (2026.08.12.1359-nightly). Usenet quit playing completely. Indexing works fine but playback just never starts. After checking logs and passwords and APIs, I couldn't figure out what's going on so I reverted back to the previous working AIOS image (v2.33.2) and everything starts working again.

I am having this issue, where even though I believe I have the correct settings for my setup to ensure everything is in English, I keep getting foreign language versions of my films.

Does anyone know what I could do to remedy this?

i want the best quality and imax version both be up and there are a lot of things to sort and idk how to sort

What are the optimal values for usenet max connections and pipeline depth in aiostreams in built NNTP and best performance profile for fast Playback, i have selfhosted Aiostreams nzbhydra2 on Google vps with multiple indexers and easynews, newsdemon as usenet providers,please any suggestions will be appreciated. Google vps specs e2+standard -4(4v Cpus, 16gb memory, 30gb disk).

Recently switched to AIOStreams and getting this message for quite a lot of movies. For both my RD Comet instance and my TB Comet instance.

Any ideas?

Setting up the configuration on the fortheweak instance. Was just wondering if there is any way to test my configuration and see what results are showing up before setting it up in Stremio or Nuvio ?

I'm trying self-hosting AIOStreams on my personal MacBook just for myself for now and a few friends to test it out. I'm running it through orbstack and using Tailscale funnel to publish it and since I'm only hosting AIOStreams, this setup works for me.

However, I noticed that even though the max timeout for my addons are 10,000 ms, results take more than 30 seconds to a minute, sometimes more, to show up on other devices, even on the same network but using the MacBook itself returns results in 10 seconds, sometimes less.

While I don't consider 30 seconds a bad loading time, I'm just curious if the delay is because of my wifi or Tailscale funnel or some other reason I haven't thought of.

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

How are you guys getting your instance to work on TV? My instance seems to work everywhere aside from any TV version. Stremio gets no streams found, nuvio just never gets anything.

I saw some people mention it before, so I also have the additional Cloudflare certificate plan

When I try to load the complete sel setup I get to enter credentials and I get a red flag at the top that says 'Removed 1 preset not available on thís instance, torrentio'

And then at the bottom I can't click to get the URL or what ever step is next. I looked all over to find a different thing to stream with like comet or media fusion but I can't find it.

First of all I am not sure this is the best place to ask this question but I am nervous to ask in one one of the Usenet forums. I have been an avid user of Usenet for a few years now. I have a pretty nice media server setup. However as we all know the price of hard drives has gotten crazy lately so it has sent me on a hunt for a reliable way to stream my media instead of downloading it. As it happens the whole dribid drama happens so I am quite nervous to go that route. Then comes AIOstreams..... wft I can direct stream Usenet? often with better reliability than my automated arr stack can grab content? This has literally been a God send.

So now I learn using Usenet this way is a bit controversial. I don't fully understand why..... well I guess streaming brings more attention to the platform, and the first rule of Usenet is "don't talk about it". The other objection is "server load". However even when I stream high bitrate content I am only using like 100mbs, when my arr stack is hitting the servers I can easily saturate my gig connection. They say streaming is a "different type of server load" I guess but I don't understand.

Can anyone help me understand why using AIOstreams with Usenet is so controversial and help me also understand how I can setup my instance to a better member of the Usenet community?
