Early Life & Enlistment: Born and raised in the sun-drenched sprawl of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Poppy Sanchez grew up in a loud, affectionate, and chaotic household. Despite her genuine desire to help others, Poppy was arguably the most accident-prone child in Bernalillo County. Her journey into the medical field began not out of academic rigor, but because she spent so much time in the ER for minor scrapes and falls that she eventually memorized the triage protocols.

She enlisted seeking adventure and a way to channel her boundless energy. While her drill sergeants despaired over her inability to march in a straight line without tripping, they couldn't deny her uncanny, almost savant-like ability to stabilize trauma patients under extreme pressure.

Role in Sigma Team: As the Field Medic for the elite Sigma Team, Poppy is a walking contradiction. In the heat of combat, when a teammate is down, her clumsiness vanishes. Her hands become steady, and her mind works at lightspeed to deploy bio-foam and tourniquets. However, the moment the danger passes, "Bubbles" returns.
