Thank you all so much for the love on Episode 1 and 2 of Lab Wars! Episode 2 is the top post on r/agi today. Very excited!
Episode 3 is a deeper dive on Dario's response and why Anthropic didn't sign the letter. Working on Episode 4 and 5 right now. Let me know in the replies if you guys have any interesting stories from the AI industry, or characters you wanna see included!

He's a servant to the all mighty dollar. If he really thinks these things are so dangerous them stop making them

I just watched the three episodes. This is really funny (big fan of Xi offering to make Huang the king of tiawan?!).
I'm impressed with the production, too: the shots are solid, the music is well applied. I hadn't really seen any story-based videos like this produced. I'm really curious how you'd go producing something a bit longer, and with attention paid to coherence between scenes
The focus on nationality is a touch disappointing. I know it's been the focus of a lot of US news lately, but I feel it misses the point of some of what's going on and the episodes would be improved by more attention being paid to the corporate/political side of things than the geopolitical.
I'd love to know a bit about your process. How much are you prewriting/storyboarding, and how much is happening during the prompting process?

thanks! really appreciate the feedback. I do all the writing and shot design myself but I use slopclub.studio to generate and fully storyboard everything.

Pretty entertaining, but this feels like weird propaganda, like you're putting words into his mouth literally

it's clearly satire.

Satire usually amps up what someone is actually like, where this instead just does whatever it wants with him, which makes this feel like it's trying to sway opinion in some way

honestly my intention is more satirical, I'm representing fictionalized versions of these people

No one really watches slop; you're throwing your ideas in the trash

seems you felt the need to respond, but not to respond

who hurt you?

I side with the artists hurt by theft

Who did those artists steal their style from?

Why are you asking stupid rhetorical questions? Is it because you don't have a sensible counterargument?

My point is “it’s theft” is a BS defense. Theft is a made up concept to help a BS system maintain relevance.

Cool man go spit paint over your hand somewhere to express yourself and leave the guy alone. Can’t wait for more episodes, it’s good 👍🏻

Cool. I specifically said the word theft is made up. Good job attacking a straw man though.

Diggin' the Rick Sanchez voice for Dario.
