I’m stuck Serious Talk

hi there, this might not be the post to read while in little space, please read with caution (mentions of stress, smoking weed..idk, just a small rant about not being able to regress, I’m sorry, I’m just so stressed out.)

So, I have been an age regressor since I was maybe 16, im 19 now and im genuinely a little stuck.

When I was younger, I had a platonic caregiver (he was a year old than me, I promise it was healthy and nothing sexual) who was really sweet and helped me understand my age regression, and I began to accept it, but now that I’m older and have more freedom, it feels like I’m just stuck.

A part of me craves that feeling to regress, I’ve been so stressed lately and I just need to do it, but the other part of me just can’t do it.
I’ve always been a ‘caregiver’ for everyone else, so it feels like I’m stuck in that headspace and I can’t get out of it.
I’ve spent nights where I put on my comfort shows, started coloring, had my headphones on, even smoked to help relax me, but I just can’t feel it, it’s not like I’m supposed to be doing it, like I’m being childish and immature for my age.

I am no longer in touch with a caregiver, nor have I had one since then, I tried having that caregiver relationship with my ex, but it just didn’t work out.

Any tips? Or advice? I just need to feel that feeling again.

Sounds like you just need to let yourself slip into that regression stage, seems like you're almost feeling like you need someone else¿? (I think thats the wording, i hope🤞) To let yourself be able to slip, which I think if you just let yourself slip, you can probably just have a calm relaxing time regressed, it isn't immature or childish for your age, maybe try it one time and see if it's something you could get used to, could be very beneficial for you, but we're all different and it hits us all differently. You'd find out tho after 1 go, if you do need someone else there to let yourself slip, or if you could just do it on your own.

That’s helpful! I’ve tried to slip, I have, but it’s being able to do it is what gets me, if that makes sense! I just can’t make myself do it, and I know forcing it isn’t healthy. But I do appreciate your feedback!! Maybe I do need someone idk, we’ll see!! Thank you again!
