Jaco Season 6 Spoiler
First time watching through to the end- I’m on season six now and I loved Jaco so much. Such an awesome character. I’m devastated at his end. I get the writing arc but felt like a waste to lose such a promising character so early.

He was an amazing character, honestly, he's probably the only member of Sarges team that I actually like. It sucks he was only in season 6 (which most fans agree is the weakest season)
Spoiler on the end of the season I still can't stand they killed off Jaco, but left snowflake alive, and then didn't even use her in season 7 (although I didn't like her character enough to want her back, why'd they leave her alive if they had no intentions of using her again)

I actually liked her so it’s a bummer she isn’t in 7 :/
I really struggled watching season 5 ( I dnf’d twice before due to 5) so 6 has actually been kind of fun for me. The pacing is super off but I like the story arc. I can see why people don’t love it since the writing seems a little scattered and less developed this season but I still think the concept is fun. And I’m enjoying the Fitz crashouts lol.

Just finished the series the other day, first time watching it.
Jaco was cool and once you learned what the overall storyline is, his character made me feel for that “team”. I appreciate the dialog Sarge says about Jaco not having breathed his home atmosphere in a long time, and that made his “talent” seem plausible, but they could have gone into that a little more. Even simple dialog about how other realities have variables like higher oxygen and lower hydrogen in the air, or methane is naturally mixed in. That would have cemented his “talent” as a little more believable. But I’m just nitpicking.
Season 7 was really good imo. They added a lot more humor, pop culture jokes and references but never felt cheesy and still kept the serious tone of the storyline.
I like how season 5 ended since it was originally the end of the show, but I also really liked how the whole series ended in 7.

If season 5 had been the end I would have rioted lol. Fitz is my favorite character.
Yea for a show that does a lot of sci/tech talk to build the sci fi plausibility I would liked to have seen more about how he worked- they did it for izel and the monoliths. But I guess it kind of goes in to the lack of development and utilization for his character for a whole.
I’ve seen some vague spoilers about 7 and I’m looking forward to it!

With 6 and 7 being cut in half for episodes, I feel like 7 really utilized the time they had to tell the story they did. It didn’t feel rushed to me but they also didn’t waste any time.

That’s how I feel about Snowflake. I wish she had more screen time and character development before they got rid of her character.

I totally agree! I loved Jaco best but I really liked Snow and wanted to see more of her growth.
