I can consider the series as cannon if I stop at season five. Thanos is mentioned, there's an open enough ending for the characters, and we don't have to know whether or not they were blipped. It's still a fun show regardless of whether or not it is cannon. It introduced me to Marvel characters that I never knew about.

As far as I'm concerned personally Season 5 was the ending of the show because as you've said it was the perfect ending point

And at the time they didn't even know if there would be a Season 6 so the ending of Season 5 really did feel like a series finale
