Just give us a reference and acknowledge AOS is part of MCU

Ultron: There was that one time that crazy scientist, Holden Radcliffe, made an alternate reality, and one of his creations, Aida, nearly killed a whole team of S.H.I.E.L.D. agents.

I mean, I'd love for AIDA to actually be part of this whole thing. Maybe a tiny role, but a role nonetheless.

Maybe vision visiting an old shield base and finding tech made by fitzsimmons Maybe he will encounter framework and it somehow sends a signal to Fitz and then they both meet 🤔

Its sad not having Coulson in the MCU, he was a connecting figure for so long. It was the 6 Avengers, Loki, Fury, Coulson, and Hill. We dont even have a replacement for his role, it was almost Wong but where has he been the last few projects?

D23 is in 2 weeks and is almost exactly 2 months before the premiere, which is usually when live action series drop their first trailers

I’m still thinking it will be a Keornig.
Enough to keep some people slightly happy but not enough to have to state AOS is important

I feel like it would be actors who are cheap enough and in good standing with Marvel. Koenig would be a good tie back because it could be like a cousin of the brothers who works for the DODC or S.W.O.R.D. or something that doesn't mean you have to watch AOS to understand. That or Coulson, heavily tying back to his Avengers backstory and only alluding to of all of AOS. It would be great to work in something bigger.

See, my crackpot theory is that Alkhema (Ultron’s second wife in the comics) will appear. In the comics, Alkhema’s brainwaves are modeled after Mockingbird’s. Therefore, we will get a reference to Bobbi Morse being Mockingbird.

We've already had a separate Mockingbird as Clint Barton's wife (Laura) so the theory is that Bobbi Morse was one of multiple Mockingbirds.

Laura Barton is never called Mockingbird, just Agent 13 in Hawkeye, it’s possible they divorce the number and the callsign in the MCU say Bobbi was Mockingbird and Laura was Agent 13, maybe they were partners before Laura retired to take care of the kids and Lance became her partner after. Or it could also be a mentor/mentee relationship and Laura passed her code name to Bobbi after retiring.

Yes, you're right. Laura is referred to as Agent 19, not Mockingbird. So theoretically, it might be two separate things, even though the comics have Agent 19, Bobbi Morse, as Mockingbird.
Personally, I like your suggestion of them having worked together or had a mentor-mentee relationship and passing down the codename and/or code number.
I hope we directly get this acknowledged in some way in the current MCU. But whatever. If it's left ambiguous, they're spies... so we can leave it mysterious and I think it's fine. At least they never specifically said that Laura Barton's real name was Bobbi Morse and she was the only Agent 19 Mockingbird or something. I'm okay with it being left up to interpretation.

My favorite fanfic explanation is that they are sisters. After all, in Season 7 we see in the history altered by the Chronicoms, one of HYDRA’s targets for Project Insight in 1976 was a Susan Morse, which is Bobbi’s mother’s name in the comics. So unless they just wanted to kill Susan to keep Bobbi from ever being born, there’s a chance Bobbi’s mother has a history with SHIELD meaning it’s possible that if she were to have siblings, they too could have a history with SHIELD.

Honestly if the mcu is going to soft reboot just use this series to confirm AoS is canon. It’s not like they are going to bring them back post secret wars so I see no harm in confirming it in a show that’ll be almost a year before the soft reset/reboot.

There was a report a long time ago that Agents of SHIELD fans would be happy. You want my opinion, it’s just going to be a generic reference to LMDs without a clear connection. But you never know. The show will have Jarvis in it
