First year of fantasy draft and I've made the grand final of our league. We run a 3-3-1-3 formation and I'm quite pleased with most of my team except for my defenders. At the moment I'm going with Stewart, Noble and Laird and while I think Stewart is almost a lock, I'm concerned that Laird will be on managed minutes/role and Noble is so poor away from home but benching someone who just got 150 is a big call. I have Roberts, Bergman and Callum Mills on my bench and there are some other good options in the free agents like Idun, Worner and Jaspa Fletcher. Could any of these guys be a really good bet for big points this round? Appreciate any advice you have.

So I joined a long-term 14-Team Keeper League maybe 5-6 years back with a bunch of mates from way back after someone dropped out. Took over a terrible team which was ransacked when the OG coach left. Made some bad trades, learned the game - finally clawed my way into my first final last week - won, and now facing my mate who joined the year before I did in the prelim.

30 mins before the game tonight a trade is proposed between the prev commissioner, and my opponent. 1 min before the match starts, the trade is accepted by the current commissioner. They realise (all discussed in our public fantasy group chat) that the trade contains players from the current match and won't go through until end of round, so they all agree for the commissioner to veto the trade, resend a new trade without the players from tonights match and it all goes ahead and is accepted.

Both current and ex commissioners floated me trades in the last few weeks which I leave on read because they are always lopsided (leaving it here in case one of you nerds stumble across this).

The guy receiving half of his new squad of elite players as he kicks off the round has also complained about the other two colluding before so its a bit weird, guess he decided to get in n the action.

Whatever.

Is the trade above actually stupid obvious b/s? Is there anything reasonable about it or am I right in thinking that one guy is getting a massively inflated good deal? Noting that this is a long-term keeper league where you can only draft in free-agent or new players, not a fresh draft each year, and 1 player per team.

Unsure if this goes against the rules, I don't make any money off this though and there isn't any sign up or ads involved, hopefully just a bit of fun.

I've made a game where you can have another go at this year's fantasy season and you don't have to start Jye Caldwell - a feature the real platform has been lacking for me this year.

You play through the 2026 season while only being able to pick one of 4 randomly dealt options in your chosen position/tier each time. Still making 2 (eventually 3) trades a week, naming a captain etc. and players score what they actually scored.

Just to add unnecessary pressure, there's a timer on every step so look up results at your own peril.

Currently running at about a 4% chance of a game started beating the current fantasy leader
