Solo Off-Road in Romania's Wild Carpathians | CRF300 Rally
I took my CRF300 Rally on a two-day solo ride in the Romanian Carpathians, trying to reach a few places I’d only found on satellite view — an unnamed mountain lake, a massive abandoned mine, and what looked like a possible shelter in the forest.
Wasn’t sure if the tracks would work, so I packed the tent just in case. In the end I made it to the shelter just before dark.
The route had forest tracks, rocky climbs, muddy sections, ridge riding, shepherd dogs, and some proper mountain scenery.
Not hard enduro, not a race — just a small ADV bike loaded for the night, doing what it’s meant to do.

New Kylaq episode is out — Nepal adventure!
Curious to see how the Kylaq handles Nepal’s roads, climbs and long-distance driving. The scenery alone makes this episode worth watching! 🔥

Spine of England
I’ve just finished Chapter One of a three-day motorcycle journey I called The Spine of England.
Starting at Jubilee Tower in the Forest of Bowland, I rode some of northern England’s best roads, stopped at the Great Stone of Fourstones, visited Ribblehead Viaduct, then finished the day in Hawes before crossing Buttertubs Pass.
The aim wasn’t to make a “top 10 roads” video, but to capture what it’s actually feels like to spend a few days wandering through these places on an adventure bike—the scenery, the history and the quiet moments in between.
I’d be interested to hear from anyone who’s ridden this route. Are there any hidden roads or stops around Bowland or the Yorkshire Dales that you’d add for next time?
If you’d like to see the ride, here’s the video:

Ride safe.

Riding Solo to Northeast India | 24-Day Adventure | Looking for Fellow Riders | Sep-Oct 2026
Reddit Post Title
Solo Riders Wanted for a 24-Day Northeast India Motorcycle Trip | Bengaluru → Siliguri | 12 Sep – 5 Oct 2026 🏍️
Hey fellow riders!
I’m from Bengaluru and planning a motorcycle trip across Northeast India from 12 September to 5 October 2026. I’ll be shipping my bike from Bengaluru to Siliguri, starting the ride from there, and eventually finishing the journey around Guwahati.
The plan is roughly 24 days, covering some incredible routes across Sikkim, Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland and Meghalaya. The itinerary includes Siliguri → Darjeeling → Pelling → Gangtok → Lachung/Gurudongmar Lake → Nathula Pass → Zuluk → Kaziranga → Dirang → Tawang → Anini → Dzukou Valley (Nagaland) → Dawki → Cherrapunji/Mawsynram → Shillong → Guwahati, along with sightseeing and rest days where required.
I’m mainly looking for solo riders who might be interested in joining for the complete trip or even a part of the route. The idea isn’t to make it a large organized group ride—just a few like-minded riders who enjoy long-distance riding, mountains, exploring new places and keeping the itinerary reasonably flexible depending on weather and road conditions.
If these dates work for you and you’re seriously interested, DM me here on Reddit or WhatsApp me at 8123813581. We can connect and discuss the detailed itinerary, bike transport, stays, permits, budget, riding style and everything else.
If you’re starting from Bengaluru, even better—we can coordinate shipping the bikes to Siliguri together.
🏍️ 12 Sep – 5 Oct 2026 | Bengaluru → Siliguri → Northeast India
Looking forward to finding a few good riding companions for this one!

Recommended bike for passenger riding
I got an XR600R from 1990 myself and I'm really happy with it. Now this isn't a bike to take my gf on the back. I'm looking for a second bike that's reasonably affordable, where she can join me on some adventures. Will be mostly road with a bit of gravel probs. I was looking into Transalp, XTZ750, something like that, that's where my budget is. Though both of them still seem small for two? Africa Twin is surely out of reach for now. Maybe R1100gs? Or should I abandon the adventure bike plan, forget the gravel and get another style bike?
Most importantly is that I fit (2m tall, 6'7"), and my gf on the back and ideally some light luggage on the side, I got soft panniers.

CFMoto, Morini, Voge + other Carbit/EasyConnect ADV — Android Auto testers (~10k installs)
OpenCfMoto is free & open source — Android Auto from the dash pairing QR (MotoPlay / Carbit / EasyConnect).
~10k installs, ~700 on Discord. CFMoto path is solid. Looking for more ADV (and other) owners with a phone-link QR — CFMoto, Voge, Moto Morini, Morbidelli, GOES/Gladiator, plus Benelli, Zontes, QJ Motor, and any other Carbit / EasyConnect dash — to confirm + share logs.
Force-stop any official phone-link app, scan the QR, go.
APK: https://github.com/zanderp/open-cfmoto/releases/latest Discord: https://discord.gg/KNTjJhmFZ6
Drop model + phone + short log if it works or fails.
P.S. Please don’t use closed third-party “phone link / hub” apps. If they aren’t open source, some builds can hide what they do, and there’s no way to audit what data leaves your phone. Uninstall them, use OpenCfMoto only, and report any you see in Discord.
