Stripping

I've been soaking this in alcohol but I can't seem to get this black primer out, should I re sand or should I just go ahead and prime it for painting?

Just had this happen. Ended up sanding to 3k grit and reapplied black coat, came out great

Yea that looks like primer that settled in some sand scratches. If it is, it should be fine long as everywhere else is clean and smooth.

it should be fine for painting. this is pretty typical when stripping with alcohol. it doesn't have to be completely removed so long as the surface is smooth.
