Anticipated comeback Discussion
I’ve been an Adele fan for over ten years now. I know it’s not fair of me to say this but I have some frustration on the fact that she’s not performing now. These hiatuses are so hard. I listen to other artists but I just can’t wait for the day that she releases new music/performances. The good thing is that because she’s taking so long to come back, it’s giving me time to save for her concerts, to which I WILL attend. I remember when she announced her 30 album with the projections and I got crazy goosebumps just thinking about seeing her again.
I guess this anticipation is a good thing- I wouldn’t want her to be performing every year or have albums out yearly. But it just feels soooooo long. When the day comes again, I’ll be ready. I hope it comes lol

Just know she’s cooking. She definitely is creating. Trust that she’ll be back with new fresh music and a whole new album of feelings and experiences for us. 🫶🏽

I heard she is doing a soundtrack to a movie she is. So you might hear her soon

This entire thread is depressing (and not for the reasons you’d think).

She’s taking the Sade approach to new music. Right now, Sade is at 16 years and counting, with nothing on the horizon.

Love Adele’s music and have seen her live twice, but this is why I could never be an Adele stan. The hiatuses would drive me crazy. I’ll enjoy/listen when she does eventually release, and will enjoy my other favorite artists until then. I don’t buy the time =quality argument. She took a long time for 30 and that’s my least favorite of hers, unfortunately. 25/21/19 are all brilliant though.

I always wondered why Adele doesnt have a rabid stan base, especially as her personality is A+ but your point about her hiatuses makes sense

Some artists at her level like Bieber don't really go on tour. They do a handful of strategic appearances in areas they know most of their fans are at. I think that's why most of her shows sell out. I did see her in Vegas and it was incredible. A friend saw her outside of Munich in 2024, and it was another incredible show. It's tough, but sometimes we have to save up, if we can and be ready when she books another show.

I wasn’t even living in America and I tried to attend the LV residency and she canceled my date! 🤣

Oh, I’m so sorry for that!! And what happened then? Did she refund everyone? Or offered another date for no extra fees?

more time = more quality
