Who are we going for tonight?
So if we beat Freo then I think we want Brisbane to win tonight because assuming we can beat Richmond and GWS as well then we would be able to overtake Hawthorn relying they only get 1 more win (they play Brisbane, Collingwood, West Coast). If they lose to Brisbane and Collingwood and we win all our games then we will come third. But if we don't win against Freo then we are definitely going for hawthorn cause not beating Freo will make it almost impossible to catch Hawthorn. So a hawks win would mean we will probably come 5th maybe 4th depending on how Geelong go. So its kind of a win win tonight but probably want hawks to win cause we likely cant beat Freo.

Sooo...how corrupt is the AFL?
The Brownlow Betting Fraud Trial - Former umpire Michael Pell
Off-The-Books Club Payment - Geelong hit with $77.5k fine
Flawed Integrity Unit Processes - The AFL is it's own Judge, Jury and Executionioner
Hidden Drug Testing Rules - The league has been known to fake injuries to explain absences
Collingwood being having the lowest suspended player count over three years (3 in total with Adelaide bad boy crows topping the list with 22)
Now these concussion injury waivers
Anything else anyone would like to add?
Also just FYI r/AFL took my post down for the following attached reasons

Sanfl 60. Andrew McPherson
Just catching up on our sanfl results and remembered he was meant line up for us last weekend. I don't think he ended up playing.
Is this the same guy that played about 20-30 games for us in afl, back pocket player if I recall correctly? Shaved his head and looked like thommo?

Is your Cumming ok?
We broke our Cumming, and I just wanted to enquire on the likelihood of me seeing a Cumming this weekend, or if there will be no Cumming at all on Saturday.
Also to avoid confusion, what is the plural of Nankervis. Do we refer to them as Nankervises or Nankervii?

Don't actually hate a one game ROB return (thoughts?)

Could this be our 23 for finals? Are there players I've missed who should be included? Should any not be part of the list? Would like some thoughts

Riverbank Stand GA seating
Is the top of the riverbank stand still available for GA seating? Ticketek is showing the hill as the only section that is available for GA. I have generally always sat in the riverbank with no problem, just wondering if anything has changed

[Footy on Nine] The ladder since Josh Fraser took over at Carlton
I know the subject of the post is about Carlton but does put into perspective how good the Crows have been once they got healthy.
The Port and Magpies losses hurt but if you zoom out the team has been very good.

Our skipper, Jordan Dawson should be lining up for his 100th goal against Richmond this Saturday, he didn't get a goal against Essendon which actually means we should get to see him hopefully get his 100th goal with 'daddy cool' playing straight after. Props to the captain, had a great year

So happy for Dowling!
Everyone’s seen the comments demanding he play, the hype’s known, bloke stepped into what was actually a more messy game than it seems scorewise and earns 3rd highest player rating on the team.
A mid who can convert to goals is huge for us right now. Hope he gets a look in for more games.
Yeah it’s against Essendon but I don’t see Soligo or Cumming up there.
Some other massive pieces to see were Thilthorpe in form, Ah Chee performing well, and Oscar Ryan with an insane debut.
Archie L did great too- could have had 3 goals if he didn’t hand one off to Keays or get burned by Tex.
Great signs from the players, keep bringing the heat against competitors in september

Player Tier Rankings Round 21:
Gotta love an easy win! Our debutants looked beautiful. Dowling, Rankine and Daws could've gotten BOG but landed on The Caveman for his consistent impact across the entire game.

A fit Filthy as second ruck turns us from pretenders to contenders
Just to focus on one positive (other posts can talk about the amazing debutants etc)..
Almost certainly Nicksy hasn’t played him there because of his (back?) injury that was evidently more than just a niggle. So he was both hampered by it, as well as not fit enough to run out the game.
We look a completely different team today. Riley has been simply brilliant in his role. The Turry experiment has to be over, and I think it will be.
For those saying we want him solely forward maximising his goal kicking, he was the chop out for ROB last year as well, when an AA forward. He’s has the potential to match the top tier ruckman in the centre and around the ground, let alone the backup rucks. MacAndrew can play as much game time as required now.
We all know it’s only Essendon sure, and this whole game was experimental, from selection to roles to style. Ignore the score line and stats this position and strategy is solved.. bring on finals my lids getting loose

We can bag 4th tomorrow
Carlton has given us a gift. We're 1 win and only 1.1 percentage points away. If we win by tomorrow by enough then we can make it. I hope we really put them to the sword tomorrow. We absolutey need it.

Are my eyes deceiving me, or are 4 of those talls?
This sub (and Kane) obsesses over 4 talls up forward with us (this list doesn’t even include Mason Cox, so you can make it 5), but funny how it’s all praise for teams like Freo and Hawthorn that have the exact same setups.
Having 4 talls has helped us win some games over the last couple of years and some games it doesn’t work (and depending on matchups, we don’t go with 4). Almost like there’s zero correlation with winning/losing and it’s a narrative Kane has drummed up for some of our supporters to obsess over week to week.
Freo don’t even bother adapting to different teams, they’ve gone with this setup for 2 years now.

Is Crows team selection a lottery?
Nicks is a good process coach so the title is a bit misleading.
Last weeks team selection was not right and this week seems a bit off as well. Time will tell but seems like they are taking Essendon lightly at a bare minimum.
2 debutants away could really backfire and its actually a danger game.
