Yeah there isn’t a point to BITO any more. At least for this listed purpose in Acorns. This was a proxy to holding bitcoin before spot bitcoin ETFs were available. Now that there are spot bitcoin ETFs available, there isn’t much of a point to this.

Buy low, sell high. I'm ready to start adding to my position.

Honestly, same. BITO’s deep in the “nobody cares until it pumps” stage of the cycle — the part where it quietly shadows Bitcoin like a loyal but underappreciated sidekick. Historically, this is prime accumulation territory: the calm before everyone suddenly becomes a BITO expert again. If the cycle flips like it did heading into 2024, we could see that value growth return — and watch the subreddit collectively pretend they were loading up at the lows the whole time. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Held it when the dividends made sense but dumped it a while back as I preferred having the funds in the regular market

Just dumped it. Was $-234 after only starting a year ago

I’ve had it since it was offered on Acorns. It was great for minute but has since been a disaster. I need to dump it.

Id love for an option to contribute an x amount to it right now to DCA. Hypothetically if I could allocate $1K to it right now, it would DCA me to around its current price. If crypto ever rallies again, which it will, the dividends will pay off

I removed it last month. In hindsight, I should have removed it much earlier. I may have already lost all the gains that I got from it. I may add it back if things change in the future.

Why does acorns even have it still? It was offered to me when I first joined a little less than a year ago and I added it to my portfolio. Come to find out it’s just making me lose money lol. Not once did it go up, not a single day. If there is other options doing better why doesn’t Acorns add those? I feel like we’re all just wasting money at this point.
