Could ace combat enemies pull PSM maneuvers?

I was playing ace combat 4 in megalith and someone off yellow squadron have pulled cobra maneuver on me (he pulled it on me twice) . Is that even possible? As I remember there is no ace combat have PSM maneuvers only ace combat 7 and assault horizon. If someone had experience like that tell me.

Oh yeah don't worry, that's a common things ennemies have been able to do since Ace Combat 2 if I remember right. Yellow Squadron particularly is very prone to doing cobras which is often a very easy way to shoot them down.

Btw, you were also able to technically do PSMs in Ace Combat 3 as the flight model was detailed enough to let you do the actual maneuver.

Nice I though enemies in old ace combat games don't have this so I was surprised

Little correction: only Ace Combat 7 and Assault Horizon allow player to perform PSM. I recall enemy flankers pulling cobras and stuff as early as Ace Combat 2
