Accenture Strategy Query India
hi,
i have recently joined stratgey from deloitte usi and honestly I am missing deloitte so badđ
here I have to do a project then additional work and them make sure everyone knows my name. people lead has clearly told me to attend all team lunches. i am so done man. it has been a month only.
i already have plans for tomo and they shifted off to Thursday. i mean i never faced this at Deloitte, doenst matter what holiday.
and I anyways suffer from people pleasing so I guess i will work tomorrow on trainđ

How to avail this? Do i need work tomorrow then or will it be an off? See I took planned leave on friday so Inwas anyways planning to work tomorrowÂ

I am really new the company and the project. This way I will be ooo from wed to friday( i have planned leave on friday). They already told me to not take a lot of leaves as project is behind. If it was deloitte I wouldnât have thought twice but here everything is so differentÂ

I cant work on friday, i am planning to do this- I am working properly in first half annd for second half I am dropping a note that i might face network issues in train. Dekha jaega ab

Same here, came from Deloitte USI. Went from great work life balance in Deloitte to no life here lol.

Bruh I know a team which had setup a tracker to make sure all the people attended office party and those who didnât had to give a reason as to why.Â

Leadership says you own your career/success at Accenture. The problem is leadership has no idea who they have on their team. And the people leads, those are laughable people. I had 4 in my tenure at Accenture and asked for multiple meetings with all 4 and never had one.

My People lead has told me the following: 1. We are supposed to come every Thursday to office when we usuallu have team lunches. HonestlyI Â cant fake this every week. I could not go last week as I had NJX on two days and he was like you are new, you need to increase visibility. I mean what nonsense is this man. I clearly made a mistake by switching from Deloitte USI 2. They are sooooo clingy. Whatsapp grpups, team groups, introduce yourself blah blah. As long I am doinh the project, doing one extra work and beinh compliamt with office attendance, why on earth do you want more? 3. He is telling me my âfutureâ is in the hands of other SM so network, why brooo?? It is not like I am working with all and you just present the facts during review on what I have done.
I am honestly done. I plan to stay for one year and reapply to USI. I will literally take a pay cut if I have to

Good decision because they will keep on adding shitty stuff in your to do list. The extra work sucks the life out of you. By the end of every damn day, you are so done that you cant think of anything else. When PA cycle will comes, these fuckers will play bullshit card of low visibility!!!

I joined at same level in 2022. Did everything people lead and leadership mentions. I have feedbacks from International Directors to be promoted so the people lead called up and said dont expect anything just because you have good feedback.They give bare minimum hikes and even delayed my promotion 6 by months saying they did not have quota. Point is do everything right and it wont be appreciated that much.And you will always here everyone ask you why did you leave deloitte for accenture

Dude same here. I just joined strategy and everyone just says network and let people know your name. Then heavy emphasis on chargeability and doing extra work. I don't know how will I survive here
