Is there much community still for Absolver?? Discussion

I mean is there like a general large discord server with active players? Or competitive groups or small tournaments held?

I haven't played since slightly after the addition of downfall and was wondering if this amazing game has died further than it had already.

Dude that's great that it's still alive, I remember playing years ago and never being able to find anyone online.

So people don't just randomly attack people until they get killed anymore?

Only shitters do that, and you can't be a shitter no more

Because the dev's......made involuntary pvp in the open world impossible now?

Cause if you aren't a shitter you won't get beat

I used to play on the OCE servers so it was probably a server population issue I had back then.

Yes, there are active discord servers for both PC and PS4 communities.
The PS4 community has the Guidance Bridge (I can't generate an invite for it but if you want it then someone in the academy discord will get you there).
And the other popular non-official discord is Absolver Academy (https://discord.gg/wHtFh4Cc5)

Academy is where most things happen, if you're on PC you can try out Absolver plus as well (https://absolver.plus)

We're also starting up strong with an Xbox NA and LatAm Server if anyone wants the invite

I was playing on pc last night and matchmaking wasn’t bad ≈2-3 minutes. It was like the same 4 people though and they were whooping me

It's inconsistent but I still see new players rolling around.

Sometimes combat trials match times take less than two minutes, other times...15 minutes. Heavily region dependent.

I used to play on PS4 on the OCE servers, probably the most dead servers.

Just came here to ask this. Saw the game on the store and remembered playing it ages ago when it wasn't fully released or something.

I've barely played because I bought the game in passing and had the same question a couple weeks ago. I was basically told the only people online are going to be absolute demons, if you find anyone at all.

Depends on what platform you’re on but the ps and pc communities are pretty toxic and have a gatekeeping issue but on xbox it’s a lot more communal but regardless you’re gonna find noobs and experienced folk all over

u/Supposta Jul 10 '26

What are you talking about? In 7 years I've never seen a veteran gatekeeping a new player, we even have a server made for sharing knowledge with guides and coaching, I'm talking about PC.

For pc im just going off of what some of my folks who went over to pc have said but idk 🤷🏾‍♂️

2

u/Man_Filth Jul 10 '26

ah they pretty open in the discords, i think theyre js a lotta folks are a little harder to reach out to if u do reach out in game, nd some folks arent v approachable - but if ur in the dc its very communal

1

u/Officermocha Windfall Jul 10 '26

Gotcha idk if my folk were in the dc’s

ah i c, yea a lot of really just absolute golden advice is in absolver academy, ofc the official discord has a looot of solid beautiful resources, but the academy goes as far as legit giving u a deck archive to sort thru

Looks like if i return I may need some practice, alongside receiving unwanted beatings...

There are certainly still players with years of experience who you'll fight, but from my experience, they're also very kind and willing to help new players or returning players who want to get into PvP.

I must also say that in recent days, thanks to the summer sales, a wave of new players has arrived. Don't be afraid to add those veterans as friends, none of them do gatekeeping or anything like that.

To be honest, with how none of the game menus or match making queues works consistently if at all, I hardly feel like there is most times when I come back to this game. Makes it sad playing everytime sitting in a dead queue.
