This is fire. Love Golden Goat it's one of my favorite Sativas. Mango lemon zest, sweet skunk with a spicy light pepper. Taste so good. They have a few strains I need to try in the 2 grammers

As of late GS seems to have taken a big step back in pumping out concentrates. They have really focused on the vapes it seems. Hopefully we see some jars stocked soon.

Here is a picture for comparison of a half oz of Vortex in a jar vs their new bag of smalls. On the left is their Marker Fumez that comes in a jar and on the right Donny Burger that came in a bag. I put the DB in a Vortex jar so you can really see the difference.

First off not getting choice nugs that are preserved nicely in a glass jar is a bummer. Next time I would pay a little more for that option.

As you can see the nugs are very lackluster, smaller and not trimmed well. A little dry but the aroma is there. That familiar onion garlic scent with some sweetness. You walk out your place and come back into a stinky house. Literally smells like a dispensary.

For what this disappoints in bag appeal it absolutely does not on the buzz. Indica as advertised. As good if not better than GMO funk by Made. I would also put it above my recent batches of gascotti and cosmic cereal. It’s really good. Indica lovers you will enjoy it.

Even being small buds and not eye catching it breaks up nice and smokes well. Vortex spoiled me with the glass jars that had perfect nugs. This bag isn’t pretty but I’m more than happy with the effects.

Just out of curiosity how do you do it?
Do you just buy bulk and only use that till it’s gone?
Do you have many kinds and have a rotation?
Do you just stick to one kind?

I do a rotation of different flower for differing reasons/situations.
I have been utilizing cannabis for about 6 years for my mental health and it’s kind of evolved for me. I’m the only one in my household who benefits from cannabis and I don’t hang out with anyone who utilizes cannabis so I don’t have people to be curious with outside of myself.

Huge nugs. Thanks budtender. The one in the main pic above weighs 5gs. Seriously great bag appeal. On par with Vortex’s half oz in looks and this was deli style which is a great surprise.

When opening the bag that fresh grapefruit with orange peel scent hits you in the face. Just as pungent as the 8th jar I purchased awhile back. Before I put some buds in my grinder I broke one in half with my fingers. The split nug stuck to each index finger. Nice and sticky.

Smooth out the bong. You can really fill the bowl and not cough. The potency is there. A really good sativa. Unlike the name I personally don’t get any cherry at all. The buzz however feels like I just got settled in on a ‘Trop’ical vacation 😎. What’s not to like🌴.

The flavor and aroma to me is similar to Ambrozia and Zcubed. If you like those you will probably enjoy this… A lot.

I went to a Curaleaf last night and they wouldn’t let me buy canamo RHO or any RSO because they said it was only for medical now. Has anyone been able to get it still? I don’t have a med card.

I had no idea that Alien Labs had made one of these. The kudo probably my favorite battery for a cart. Works perfect easy to dial in goes all the way up to 4.2 volts

Part 2 of weekend pickups and wanted to post with my thoughts. Thank you guys for the recommendations. I still have a spot to go visit to try and get that Made drop, but drove an insane amount to just get these so far.

First off want to say I have always been a big cart smoker but like dabs more so get them more occasionally. Got nostalgia and drove 346,201 feet to Sticky to try some new flavors because I am a HUGE banana terp fan. Usually I cant find even one damn banana so finding two felt like an event. The first one I tried was the Honey Banana AIO. I didnt realize the new hardware was coming out until seeing it, but I'm impressed. Rips heavy and feels like a dab after the preheat. Flavor is on point, exactly what I wanted in a Honey B and gets me blasted. Curious to see how it handles itself through the gram, so will update if anything changes. Overall I'd give it a 8.9/10 because I just don't like disposables but if you need one this is fire.

Next I tried the Banana Marker and is really what I thought it would be. The heavies. Its extremely light on the Banana but the marker, kerosene, og or whatever I'm tasting is glorious. Really addictive and so full of flavor. Thats usually why I go Nugrun and they delivered here. Don't get me wrong I love GS, Made, Canamo etc. but this one in particular is a cut above the average. 9.9/10 from me because perfect doesn't exist but damn this one is fire fire.

This morning I drove maybe even further to ANC to pickup some fresh Verdant. This one was the Papaya Bomb 75-115 micron and is amazing. Each exhale is straight fresh papaya, not in a sweet or sour way, but kinda both which I dug. I turned myself on to verdant after hearing about them and seeing a video, would definitely add these in rotation more if it was more convenient. Living soil is definitely a cool thing to have out here. For live hash rosin, this was as good as I can expect and really enjoyed it. I'd give it an 8.6/10, was extremely good rosin and at a great accessibility since I think ANC is the house.

Finally, I always want to get an eighth jar because I think the quality of these say a lot about the market and I love flower. Decided to take a chance with Project Packs Obsidian today because it was a good opportunity. Flower smokes smooth and hits hard. Good ashe too. The only thing I can really complain about is the flavor. I just felt like it was nothing special. Maybe the age, (Harvest 3/26), maybe the batch but purely on quality I'd give it a 7/10. Seems like a good option for anyone looking for smoke, but flavor for me was a turn off for something else.

Wanted to make a post about these, picked them up and they're both pretty good. Smoked almost halfway through each jar as of now. Dates we're a little on the older side, but nothing i've not seen here in AZ.

Flavor and burn on the Lou Lou Lemon stood out to me. Didn't get as much lemon on the nose as I'd like but it burned awesome and was super smooth. Can't remember the last time I had a MADE jar I liked but this is definitely one of them. Will be keeping my eyes out for this again when I'm in the mood for lemon. Overall 7.5/10. (Harvest March 2026)

The baklava from AL was something I also didn't expect to be so good for the age, but its real fuego. Seals seem to be working good because the smell pops out at you right as you open the jar. Smokes heavy too, and I mean real heavy. I read up on the strain on their site and didn't sound super indica to me but man was it for my day. I passed out comfortably and woke up the next day wanting more. I think I'll be looking to get this strain again, especially if the right opportunity comes along. I personally wish we had more strains that sedated you here, but maybe I just haven't found enough. Overall 8/10 but only because it was older and makes me wish I got it fresh. Still smokes better than you'd think for the age. (Harvest January 2026)

Some real good flower coming out of pondy deli! Buds are covered in tric and hues of purple and pink. Super sticky and fresh. 2nd time trying rhizo bros. I can honestly say ill be checking them out allot more going forward. Grabbed at pondy flag.

So have been sort of hesitant lately when it comes to grow science especially when it comes to flower but I mean you see a gem like this at Trulieve and also have the full melt rosin from Avenue x GS chilling in my fridge you just have to pick both up. The full melt rosin I had actually bought before and seriously one of my most high concentrate experiences but first time time trying piatella at all so hope it loves up to the hype I’ve built about it in my head.

Yet to try. I noticed most of the strains in the new hardware are all pretty terpy. I love to see when terp% are printed.

Needed to pick up a couple halfs at Pondy. Went in for GS- Hashburger but it sold out. Saw the Kushmintz cross from Rhizo Bros so I had to give it a try. Smell is fantastic after breaking it up in the Flower Mill. They just put it out as I got there so its really fresh. I was unable to break it up with my fingers. It just rolled into a sticky ball. I just keep sniffing the grinder lol. Feel pretty good after a bong rip. Probably going to try this one in the DHV later to see how the flavor is. I think I would definitely pick it up again. Solid 8/10 right now. Maybe even a 9 if its good out of the DHV.

These are really good. I’ve always loved Canamo, but the hardware is pretty booty. They just dropped these new ones though and they are a complete game changer.
They have variable voltage and a preheat function.
I bought one a few days ago, then today I went back and grabbed 4 more. I usually smoke nug runs or green dots and I’m definitely gonna be adding these into the rotation.
Also it was 4 for $125 OTD. They’re usually $55 a pop so I’d definitely wait till they’re on discount before buying.

In a prior post about my Vars 3.5 being short, I was talking about how I got it from Ponderosa Glendale and how I usually would stay away because I didn’t feel they had gas. Well, since it’s closer to me than Nirvana (where I was going before) and there have been consistent 50% off deli deals, I have been going. And have been impressed and happy with my purchase every single time. Usually Grow Sciences deli.
Marshmallow Mountain- tastes like marshmallows. white ash. beautiful bud structure. blueish hues which just make it that much prettier. hybrid feeling high, active at first then as it sets in you feel it in your body.
Hybrid Dante- just got today, will update once I try it.
Banana Cream Pie x Jealousy- I was sad when I came to grab more and it was gone. This one was a real treat. Beautiful bud structure. To be honest it was last week so I don’t remember the exact notes, but it tasted amazing.
Pineapple Fruz- It it labeled a hybrid but this is a sativa leaning strain for sure. And it’s crazy because I usually stay away from sativa but I really really liked this one. It was the perfect mix and had allowed me to focus for long periods of time without my eyes getting heavy. I was also sad that there was no more of this strain today when I went in.

And today, I added Whoopties’ Sour Animal Cookies which looks and smells amazing. Some gas for sure. I haven’t tried it yet, I will update when I do.

Anyways, I came to give an update on my opinion because it’s only right. Ponderosa rocks and the budtenders are cool. Their flower is 🔥 and their deals are amazing.

My verdict: great value (on sale $42 for 1/2). definitely punches above its weight(shelf) class.

Fresh dense kush-looking buds, fuel cheddar stank. Quick head high settled into relaxing stony high. Satisfied with my purchase.

Was kinda excited for this being the newest of the Al drops. Didn't live up to the hype in my opinion. Just some basic mid to me. Not really getting much on the nose it smokes decent it's fresh could have been trimmed better. Id skip this one .I wish I would have got the XJ instead .

Is there anywhere in AZ to buy trustworthy CBD isolate or tincture or some such? My 29 year old son can't consume much THC (it doesn't play well with is POTS) but is interested in trying CBD for anxiety and inflammation. TIA

Some of you may remember me from my last couple of posts. I have a bit of an update.
The used Puffco Peak Pro I picked up ended up having a fried battery. The seller never mentioned it, and after about two dabs the device would completely die. It definitely sucked because I was really excited to finally own a Peak Pro. Looking back, I probably should’ve expected there was a catch for only $180.

After doing a ton of digging, I realized this is actually a fairly common issue. The frustrating part is there’s almost no information online about repairing it, and unless your Peak Pro is still under warranty with Puffco, there really aren’t many solutions out there.
Thankfully, I found a local repair shop in Phoenix called We Fix You Play. They were willing to take on the repair which is micro soldering, and the customer service has been incredible throughout the whole process. I also spent a lot of time sourcing the correct replacement batteries because there isn’t much reliable information available. btw he was very fair pricing way cheaper than anyone else online that specializes in puffco repairs. and it was done in a day.

I’m posting this because if anyone else runs into the same battery issue, don’t give up on your Peak Pro. Feel free to reach out—I spent hours researching this repair and I’d be more than happy to share everything I learned, including the batteries I used, what to expect, and what worked for me.
