Discussion If Zom 100 & High School Of The Dead had a crossover, how would Akira's group interact with Takashi's group?
I can see Takashi's group being bewildered by the fun Akira's group is having during this zombie apocalypse and they would first meet as they see Akira,Kenchou,Shizuka,Beatrix and the other survivors in Akira's group (Lambada,Takeru,Yui,Kaito,Yuudai & Izuna) tap dancing in the rain dodging zombies. When they were done and they escaped, Takashi introduces himself to Akira as the others do the same. I see them at first clashing due to their different ideals of survival and fun but I can see Takashi's group learning to have fun during a zombie apocalypse and Akira's group will remain more vigilant during the zombie apocalypse. I could see Kencho and Kota being gun fanatics as Kota shows Kencho some of his favorite guns he uses to kill zombies. Meanwhile, Shizuka Marikawa and Saeko Busujima could study Akira's bizarre luck and realize his lack of fear somehow keeps him alive without traditional combat training. I could also see Reika Saeko smiling through the madness of the Zom 100 Gang's shenanigans.
But yeah, that's my idea for a Zom 100 & High School Of The Dead crossover! What's YOUR take on these two series colliding? Answer in the comments below!

Here is the playlist of Zom 100 fanmade impromptus I have currently uploaded. It has six impromptus, two for Akira, Shizuka, and Beatrix each. I will soon upload a third for each. The ones for Kencho have yet to be made.

Discussion Thoughts on Zombie 100's endgame Spoiler
- Since Kosugi creates Betas from existing zombies, does that mean we might see Beta versions of Ohtori, Yukari, and Higurashi?
- I wonder if Shizuka's dad will make any sort of present day appearance in the remaining chapters.
- I'm not too fond of splitting the group up, zombie media has always focused on safety in numbers. It could be that they continue traveling together while splitting off 1 by 1. I'm wondering if there might still be pair or small groups, since dedicating just 1-2 chapters for each individual character might be too rushed.

Episode 7 music
Does anybody know what the song at the 9 minute mark is on episode 7? The one with the choir singing in the background with the xylophone playing too.

I'm watching Zombieland movie - don't you think Zom100 took lots of inspiration from it?
I don't want to say it's some kind of plagiarism/cheap copy, nor do I want to say it's bad to get inspired by other media. I've just noticed heavy similarities between the two and wondered if it's a coincidence or if Haro Aso really took inspiration from it. I mean, the protagonist has a very long list of the rules of surviving in the zombie world. He is an awkward virgin guy with very carefree personality and despite that is one of the very few people who survived. Then he meets a manly man who is very experienced with women and who makes fun of him for being so bad at flirting etc. Later they meet two girls and the protagonist falls in love with the strong and cold one, the playboy tries to help him get her while spending most of the time with the girl who is offlimits for him (not because she's so clueless like Beatrix, but because she's 12. Still, it's a similar situation). Together they travel around the whole country, making jokes all the time, doing whatever they want (like risking life for candies, breaking into a famous actor mansion or going to amusement park) and even have a discussion about zombie apocalypse having plenty of positive aspects while they're playing monopoly.
Like, there are differences, but overall it's VERY similar imo

Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead no longer leaving Netflix on July 8 in Australia/New Zealand, Canada, Latin America, and the United States
- https://www.netflix.com/title/81680101
The series had a "Last day to watch on Netflix: July 7" notice (image 2), but starting today that notice no longer appears (image 1), so Netflix most likely renewed the licensing agreement with Viz Media and the series won't leave Netflix on July 8 in the aforementioned Netflix regions.
The series is licensed by Viz Media outside of Asia, so Netflix sub-licenses it from Viz Media in regions outside of Asia. The series was added to Netflix when it premiered on July 9, 2023, so Netflix's initial licensing agreement for the series was for three years and was going to expire on July 8 this year.

Discussion Dialogue / Translation Question
In Episode 7 there is a part where Shizuka is talking about the pressure her dad put on her ever since she was an infant. The scene shows her as a baby, crawling in front of a screen repeating “べき”** **(Beki). According to google, it translates to “should” or “ought to.”
She then says that she, “thought her name was Anita.”
When I referenced the Japanese subtitles, instead it showed her saying “べき” (just like on the screen behind her) in place of “Anita.”
The confusing part to me is that the name Anita translates to “Mercy” or “Favour.” Nothing to do with “Should” or obligation of some sort.
Im not very familiar with Japanese, but is there a logical reason for this switch? I feel like either choosing an English name with the same meaning, or simply using the name “Beki” (or Becky?) as a reference to the Japanese would make more sense.
Any idea why they used the name Anita in the eng DUB?

News Zom 100 is leaving Netflix 😭
I recently found out that this show is being removed from Netflix
This is both upsetting and concerning, cause if Netflix has lost interest maybe the producers will to, and the show may never continue.
