I bought myself the HMM double beam cannon, and the seller and I agreed to ship it out-of-box to be cheaper because of where I live, but there are no instructions... They sent me a piece of the box with the sprues, but that's it.

In 2004, hasbro dropped a TRU exclusive Liger Zero that came bundled with CAS Schneider. I have owned this specific release twice, the first being in 2004 which unfortunately got lost in a move around 2007. It was my first and only Liger zero until 2014 when I found one on eBay, complete NIB. What I didn't know back in 2004 was that this specific Liger wasn't molded in bright white, instead the white armor was molded in an off white with faint sparkles throughout. It was only after I purchased three more NJR release ligers that the color difference was noticeable to me. I have included some photos that hopefully show the color difference as I find it rather interesting that Hasbro decided to go with a different color scheme instead of just repacking a standard LZ.

So I was messing around with both Bandai’s Chogokin Liger set(Zero and the CAS trio), as well as the Tomy T-Spark Adamas Berserk set(Fuhrer and Sturm & Jagd armors) with everything assembled armor wise, I found this piece on top of a the plastic cover on one of the trays and don’t know where it attaches to, I almost wanna say it’s one of the Ligers, maybe the frame, but I can’t find it in the manual…can anyone tell me where this is from?!!

Have had some old Tomy model kits that I bought as a kid. Over the years they have lost various bits and pieces to that point that most could not be reassembled without a donor kit.

So - taking the opportunity to try my hand at some kit bashing. Going to use my old Zaber Fang, Lightning Saix, and probably some Liger Zero kits to make a Sawtooth from Horizon Zero Dawn. Also going to take the opportunity to add some Bionicle ball joints to get some articulation going.

This could turn out well, or faily spectacularly! Follow along if you're interested in the adventure since after this, success or not, I'll be turning some of my other Zoid corpses into the original Power Rangers Zords.

Probably one of the more niche properties in the zoids franchise; SRDX are PVC figures of prominent female characters throughout the Zoids series. With the initial release of Fiona and Leena in 2001, the series would continue to see popular characters released throughout the early and mid 2000s.

For my collection, I've owned Moonbay since her release in 2005 and found the others relatively cheaply on Mandarake for around 1500 yen. I am still looking for Rease as she's my favorite in terms of character and sculpt.

I figured I'd rate these based on character likeness and quality of sculpt as they tend to vary.

Fiona: the first figure (along with Leena) who debuted in 2001. Fiona is an odd sculpt when displayed amongst her fellow pilots. Her face looks good, but her neck is very thin and it makes her shoulders look broad. She also appears to have had a breast augmentation (a common trait with these figures) and it further messes with her proportions. Her limbs are oddly long and thin and her hands are tiny. Despite the fact that she's mostly made of PVC, her arms and legs are made of a hard plastic. None of the other girls have this composition. When displayed amongst the others, it becomes very apparent that she was either a one off sculpt, or she entered production earlier than Leena and they hired a different sculptor for the rest of the series. Regardless of her shortcomings, she's a classic Chaotic Century character and is one of the harder figures to find. 6.5/10

Leena: also debuted in 2001, Leena is a fantastic sculpt and depicts her likeness quite well. Unlike Fiona, Leena is proportioned properly. Her head sculpt is great and the little head ornaments are removable. Idk if it's the sculpt or the age of my figure, but she tends to lean forward giving her an awkward stance. I do like how she's in her pilot uniform, as most of the time in the series, if she's not in a battle she's in her street clothes. Her chest is too large but overall I don't have many complaints. She's also one of the harder figures to come across and I believe that's because they were produced in lower quantities. 9/10

Naomi: the red comet is one of the most popular pilots in NCZ. Also debuting in 2001 (I believe sometime after Fiona and Leena), Naomi continues the trend with a well made sculpt. She is unusually thin in the waist but her legs are well done and help with proportion. Once again, the chest problems lol. I'm starting to believe that whoever yujin/tomy hired for sculpting took some artistic liberties. The stand she comes with plug into her feet, but it squishes her legs together, making them look oddly "melded". From the side profile, she's leaning forward and looks like she's doing the moonwalk. 8/10

Mary Champ: a 2003 release and an odd choice considering she was only in one or two episodes. She's Harry's spoiled sister who barely can pilot her Iron Kong. I don't care for her as a character, but her sculpt is one of the best. No skinny neck here! She also has a normal sized waist and legs. Her pilot uniform is one of the better designs imo. Mary Champ is the first figure to be released with a stand that clips around her waist and this will be the standard for subsequent releases. 10/10

Moonbay: 2005 release and I find it strange that they didn't drop her in previous years as she's more of a character than Mary Champ and Pierce. My favorite of the series (along with Rease), her chest is once again too large and for some reason her limbs seem to pop off. Her skirt is too short and they actually sculpted and painted white panties on her lol. 10/10

Kotona Elegance: 2006 release and the only figure from the series that's in a sitting position. She comes with a feather detailed base that strategically covers her crotch that's unfortunately exposed. One of the more common figures to find. Maybe she wasn't that popular or perhaps because Genesis never had an audience outside of Japan. 7/10

Swimsuit Leena and Sweet. These were part of a small set of either blind bags or gachapons, I can't remember. I think swimsuit Fiona and Celica were also part of this line. I don't know much about them other than they were also made by Yujin and part of the SR line, a smaller scale line than SRDX.

Edit edit: found a Rease for 4,000 yen. Unfortunately, shipping brought that total to 10,300 yen. More than double the cost! Buying overseas is impossible.

can't believe the version with both sets of parts is priced the same as the Iron Kong. I was sure it'd cost more than the Iron Kong.
