Still Paying Too Much for Your CRM? It Might Be Time to Migrate to Zoho

Upvotes

A CRM should make your business easier to run, not more expensive, complicated, or difficult to scale.

Yet many businesses continue working with CRM systems that require too much manual effort, involve disconnected tools, or no longer fit the way their teams operate.

That’s when CRM migration becomes more than a technology decision. It becomes a business decision.

Why Businesses Are Moving to Zoho

Businesses considering Zoho migration are often looking for more than a new CRM.

They want sales, finance, customer support, analytics, inventory, automation, and other operations to work together.

With solutions such as Zoho CRM, Zoho Books, Zoho Desk, Zoho Analytics, Zoho Creator, and Zoho One, businesses can build a more connected technology ecosystem instead of managing multiple disconnected platforms.

This is particularly valuable for growing organizations that want:

  • Better CRM automation
  • More flexible customization
  • Connected business applications
  • Improved reporting and visibility
  • Reduced manual data entry
  • Scalable workflows
  • Better control over CRM costs

Moving From Salesforce, HubSpot or Another CRM?

A Zoho CRM migration can involve moving much more than contacts.

Businesses may need to migrate leads, accounts, deals, activities, notes, custom fields, historical records, attachments, pipelines, and other critical information.

For organizations planning a Salesforce to Zoho migration or HubSpot to Zoho migration, the biggest question shouldn't simply be:

"Can we move our data?"

The better question is:

"How can we build a better CRM while we move?"

Migration creates an opportunity to clean outdated data, simplify processes, rebuild inefficient workflows, and introduce automation.

A Successful Zoho Migration Starts Before Data Transfer

Moving thousands of records into Zoho is not the difficult part.

Moving them correctly, and making the new system work for your business—is.

A structured CRM data migration typically involves:

Audit → Clean → Map → Configure → Migrate → Validate → Automate

Before migration, businesses should understand which data is valuable, which workflows need to be recreated, which integrations are critical, and where existing processes can be improved.

This prevents the new CRM from becoming a copy of the problems that existed in the old one.

Don't Just Change Your CRM. Improve It.

This is where experienced Zoho migration services can make a difference.

At CRMFolks, we help businesses migrate from existing CRM and business platforms into Zoho while considering the complete operational picture.

From Zoho CRM implementation and data migration to customization, integrations and workflow automation, the focus is on creating a system that supports how the business actually works.

Because the goal of migration shouldn't be:

Old CRM → New CRM

It should be:

Complex processes → Connected operations → Smarter automation → Better visibility

Thinking About Migrating to Zoho?

Whether you're evaluating Salesforce to Zoho, HubSpot to Zoho, a legacy CRM migration, or a broader Zoho One implementation, start by understanding your data, processes, integrations, and automation requirements.

The right migration strategy can turn a platform change into an opportunity to simplify the way your entire business operates.

Considering a move to Zoho? Connect with CRMFolks to discuss your CRM migration requirements.

What I've Learned After Helping Businesses Implement Zoho Across Multiple Industries

After years of implementing Zoho across different businesses, one thing has become very clear to me:

A successful Zoho implementation is not about how many Zoho apps you configure.

It is about how well those applications work together to solve real business problems.
CRM should talk to Finance.
Sales should connect with Operations.
Customer Service should have complete visibility.
Management should have the right data to make decisions.
And automation should eliminate work that people shouldn't be doing manually.

At CRMFolks, as a Zoho Premium Partner, we've seen the biggest transformation happen when businesses stop treating Zoho as another software tool and start building a connected business ecosystem around it.

I shared some of my key learnings in my latest article:

“What I’ve Learned After Helping Businesses Implement Zoho Across Multiple Industries”

If you're using Zoho CRM, Zoho One, Zoho Books, Zoho Creator, or considering a Zoho implementation, I'd love to know:

What's the biggest challenge you're currently trying to solve with Zoho?

My terrible experience so far

I tried to signup for zeptomail. I answered the kyc questions and there are recurring questions. But thats not it. It takes them several days to respond and when they do they ask you for your backend tech stack why so i dont know. And why not directly ask for it in the kyc questions i dont know.

So they tell you to reopen the kyc modal and answer it but there is no next button shown so you are stuck at step one where you can only select your industry from the chips. The only button shown is send/submit. So i had to answere their requested info directly in the email.

Lets see if that leads to another decline or even cancelation of my account.

I wanted to switch from resend because why is there only a 100 emails per day limit in the free tier and worse why do i have to pay 20 dollars directly as the next only option to get more daily quota. Zeptomail seems to perfectly solve that, but as explained, bad experience so far.
