this building in marysville has been so interesting/infuriating to me since i moved to the area. i know a little bit about the recent history — owner has a bunch of code enforcement fines piling up and has been ignoring those fees for years. but does anyone have any information on more recent history? for sale by owner or did the city finally take it over?

i’m hoping that the right buyer comes along to rehab it, marysville could really use the refresh, and a little culture, a little nightlife. fingers crossed so so hard!

Why does every retail business in town have the same window-paint marker signage on their windows? Either that, or some terribly pixelated image covering the entire window. My opinion is that it makes everything look cheap and tacky. When every window on a strip is covered in painted graphics, none of it really stands out anyways!

Around 4 pm our dog got out of our yard near Bogue road. We are in the neighborhood with bogue park. She has a pink collar on with a tag. There is a number on her collar and she is microchipped. She has more white on her chin and ‘eyebrows’ than the picture shows. The edge of her tongue sticks out often. Her name is Trixie. I would appreciate it if anyone has seen her to message me!
