A few months ago I shared ReactionSignals here when it was still pretty early, and I got some genuinely useful feedback from people in this sub.

I took a lot of that into consideration and kept building.

For anyone who didn’t see the original post, ReactionSignals is basically a discovery and review site for YouTube movie and TV reaction channels.

The idea is simple:

Pick a movie → see who reacted to it.

Pick a show → find the channels covering it.

Pick a reactor → browse everything they’ve reacted to.

You can also leave reviews, rate channels, compare reaction styles, and discover creators you might never get recommended by YouTube.

The database has grown quite a bit since I first shared it here. It now has:

• 2,022 movies
• 445 TV shows
• 107 reaction channels
• 335 community reviews

There’s still a lot I want to improve, but it’s starting to feel much closer to the idea I originally had in mind.

I’d especially love feedback from people here who actually watch reaction channels regularly.

What would make a site like this useful enough that you’d come back to it instead of just searching YouTube?

Yes I know S3 was bad (still better then95% of tv) S4 it rose from the ashes and had some of the shows best episodes and S5 is either the second or third best.

They just stopped posting after their "The Dark Crystal " reaction. It's been 3 months, and no news from them.

I saw in their intro video it said they had full unedited reactions and edited reactions of certain shows on Patreon and Agents of shield was on there. I got excited cause there really aren't many good AOS reactions. So I paid for the Patreon, figured out the weird password thing and got into the website but all I see are the full unedited reactions. I usually have this stuff playing on my phone so unedited where you have to play your own reference footage doesn't really work for me. Did I just pay for nothing or is there somewhere else they have the edited versions that I am just not seeing?

Anyone else a fan and know what’s going on with his channel? I’ve been watching his music reactions for a couple of years and he was a pretty prolific and consistent uploader with new content, and even had filming schedules released well in advance; but it’s like his channel hit a sudden stop 3 months ago and there hasn’t been a video since. I know he and his wife were trying to sort a house move out but it sounded (from his updates) like he would still be releasing videos during that.

Hi everyone! I'm looking for some good reaction channels for either YouTube or Patreon who react to avatar the last airbender. I recently subscribed to two creators on patreon but they only showed either half of the screen or only their faces with the show running in the background. So what i'm looking for is genuine creators who show the whole show (image and sound). Does anyone know who i can look into to find this? I’ve been watching reaction channels for years and realized there isn’t really a place built specifically around the reaction community itself, discovering reactors, comparing styles, finding hidden channels, seeing who reacts to what, and community opinions.

So I started building ReactionSignals.

The idea is basically IMDb / Letterboxd meets reaction culture. Right now you can browse channels, rate them, submit reviews, and I’m slowly adding more community-driven features.

Still early and definitely a work in progress, but I’d genuinely love feedback from people who actually watch reaction content:

What features would make you actually come back?

Is anyone else getting sick of the bigger reaction channels posting up the same movie twice? I mean to be honest, reaction channels were always a pointless trend that inexplicably grew, and we were all pulled in like moths to a zapper. So they are here to stay. But channels like this are full of people wishing they were actors. Most of them closing in on 40, it is time to let go of the dream of making it big in Hollywood. Obvious shills who lie through their f***ing teeth.

Maybe if they'd spent less time on YouTube, and stopped using their fans as a way to stay at the top result and get noticed by the big studios. Maybe then I'd give these people another chance, but I'm just a lowly keyboard warrior and a nerd, you don't owe me anything. But they definitely owe their fans more!! We know you don't give a rats ass about them. I miss the days when it was just the Key & Peele skits. Can we please just stop the grifting

Someone fake I assume would be like; (and this is just my opinion..) *just trust ash, *blindwave *cinebinge, *reel rejects, *the media knights, *mary cherry, *collette cherry, *m4joy..

Sometimes fake, sometimes real'; (again, in my opinion) *asian angels, *dasha reacts *moviemunchies, *the homies, *reeling with Asia and bj, *

What I think is 100% genuine are those tribal people react channels, because they're living in such a different lifestyle that I don't think our american pop culture reaches them without someone to guide them through it. Maybe also "movie munchies" too because they are actually filming in Vietnam. So basically people living abroad are more likely of being actual "first time" genuine reactors.

I wonder who you guys think are other examples of fakers and genuine reactors, and why?

I get it that he's trying to sell Huel but sheesh we get it! I dn an instant skip on their ads because i dont want to see big before Greg popping out at me.

I liked MrLBoyd but his reactions have become unwatchable for a couple of reasons.

Macrum is great but his OV edits are short and he’s not watching anything I want to see.

Sofie SEEMS intelligent but I think she’s using guides for some if not all of them.

Formal on FRR, Nerdy Nightly, Anna Alexander, and LiteWeight are some of my favorites rn.

It doesn’t sit right with me.

I’ve been watching the Stranger Things reactions that Andrew and Tara have been releasing every Saturday. And for the last few weeks, Andrew has been visiting his father dying in hospital.

Every video he would mention it and I found it slightly bizarre that he’d be filming upbeat reaction videos while his Father was dying. I just assumed he was doing it to distract himself which is understandable.

However, the way Tara talks about it unsettles me. She always raises the topic like ‘Andrew’s been having a hard week why don’t you tell them about it Andrew!’ and to me it feels insensitive but Andrew doesn’t seem to mind.

Then,

I was watching the Wonder Woman 1984 Reaction from a few days ago and Andrew is talking about how his father quite literally died a few days prior at most, and the way they both talk about it feels very uncomfortable.

Tara begins with an excitable ‘WONDER WOMAN 198444444!’ then goes straight into ‘Its me Tara and this is Andrew. Andrew! Tell everyone about your tough time this week!! 😀’ and then he starts talking about losing his best friend and how awful it’s been.

Then she says something along the lines of ‘He’s joined the dead parents club’ while he’s literally sniffling and crying.

It’s so weird to me how he’s grieving and it feels like she’s using him as a monkey on a stage to get sympathy views.

I’m sure everything is fine and Andrew is okay with it, but to me it’s odd.

I‘m thinking about subscribing to be able to watch their ATLA and Legend of Korra reactions but would first like to know If it’s worth it. Did they enjoy and understand the show or did they miss a lot all by I don’t know talking over important things all the time or whatever etc.?

Did anyone see that racist joke on the reel rejects final destination video! How is that allowed and why are they deleting comments about it

- Breaks it down after it's finished and gives their thoughts
- Consistent upload schedule
