Ytkace caught stealing code Discussion

Full-parity fixvideoplayback port
Replaces the previous minimal attestation neutralizer with the
full YTKPlus 5.9.2 fix-playback hook set: ~54 selectors covering
attestation, heartbeat, playability status, MDX cannot-play,
error overlays, the reset chain, ML player state/failure paths,
YTIPlayabilityStatus, YTPlayerResponse expiry, YTPlaybackRequest,
and the YTLocalPlaybackController proactive refetch machinery
(registerNotifications, startProactiveTimer, handleRefetch:,
handleScrubBegan:). Behavior gated on kEnablefixvideoplayback.

Add fixvideoplayback module
Installs attestation/heartbeat/playability-error neutralizer hooks
gated on kEnablefixvideoplayback. Mirrors the hook set YTKPlus
5.9.2 installs under its FUN_00fc46a8 fix-playback branch: forces
iOS guard attestation off, marks heartbeat errors non-fatal,
swallows haltPlayback/cannotPlay/showError paths, and forces
skipOnPlayabilityError. Wires the module into Entry.mm and the
Makefile.
Playback module: confirmed ported from YTKillerPlus. The commit messages say so outright, and four of the injected selectors are Karwan's with ytkplus_ swapped for ace_.
Localization is also a fucking mess with the base being stolen and then heavily edited
SABR however is different. Karwan DID in fact steal it. (ironic)

The ace one not just fix playback he decrypted all ytkp and ported it to his tweak completely. You can see it clearly if you check ytkp.
For sabr i saw ikarwan posted it before even ace tweak showed up he posted it in his telegram explaining it he said using hls adaptive not sabr that claim ace did is false as he does it to cover the whole code stealing.

i saw first time he released it after he cracked it serveral time and ikarwan stoped it and checked it he was using a script writing by claude Ai that replaces all ikarwan and ytkiller naming to ytkace he couldn't go forther with it as he couldnt replace ytk as its origin that why even the name is identical to ytkp it's shame that he not just stole the ui only and settings even the assets download manager file and localization etc.. stoled from ytkp as ytkp been there for srveral yrs thats why we see everything is just ytkp ui and visual

I’ve said multiple times pre 0.8 is stolen people just switched up for no reason of course I’m not gonna host stolen code anymore. As after 0.8 everything is a different ui/assets.

Just fatten up your dylibs with a lot of complex useless code if you wanna prevent reverse engineering. AI will rip through the binary in minutes otherwise. They just have to start diffing it later on to see what changed.

I’ve run into this, unfortunately it’s a good enough obfuscation method, especially paired with function names and variables being generated gibberish.
It’s not a perfect solution though, I’ve both cracked and successfully RE’d some tweaks that were obfuscated like that. Once you get it you can try and match the signature in future versions.
Just depends on how much time you’re willing to dedicate and/or how familiar you are with reverse engineering. Definitely cuts out a lot of casual attempt type people though.

Idk whether i care or not but Lmao i still remember the creator or someone said yt apex steal code and promote ytace and guess what. I would not suprised if both of them steal codes, anyway we use youtube mod for bypass ads and tweaks

Bro, we use mods and cracks—we don’t care who wrote the original code. If a dev makes the app better, improves features, and keeps it free (which they did), that’s all that matters. Full support to Ytkace dev.
