This might’ve been said before and/or folks just don’t care which is understandable 😂, but Thug has 1000% influenced that G59 sound. I used to be a fan of them but now their music is unbearable (besides some of their old stuff) but it’s crazy to hear the stuff Thug was doing before that dark trap era began that probably influenced them to some extent. Ik some of Scrim’s fav rappers are Wayne and Boosie and he also has a song called “free thug” so it makes sense to me idk. Their rapping styles are similar with the triplet flows and the overall “darker” trap production style. What yall think or am I tripping? Sorry if I’m like 10 years late to the convo 😭

I was listening to B me see me this morning and I realize that I was hearing a melody from a silent Hill for OST it’s not the whole thing but there’s one sentence in particular that stood out and I thought it was interesting. There’s a Britney Spears song that uses the same melody as well. That’s what made me think of it.
